What Shoppers Say About Utz Quality Foods
Shoppers who have reviewed Utz Quality Foods on RetailCoupons.com report serious concerns about product quality and consistency. Multiple reviewers note that flavor profiles have changed significantly, particularly with the Sweet Heat BBQ chips losing their distinctive taste and heat, leaving them tasting plain and flavorless. Additionally, customers report that bags are being severely underfilled, with some containing only a quarter of the expected product amount.
These issues appear to be recurring problems rather than isolated incidents, as reviewers mention experiencing the underfilling problem multiple times across different purchases. The combination of perceived recipe changes and reduced product quantity has resulted in disappointed customers who feel they are not receiving the quality or value they expect from the brand.

Sorted by: Most recentWhat happened to the Sweet Heat BBQ flavor? I remember when these chips had amazing taste and real flavor, but something's definitely different now. The Southern spice is completely gone and there's zero heat to them anymore. They've basically turned into plain, flavorless chips. I picked up a bag a couple weeks back and was really disappointed. Thought maybe it was just that one bag, so I grabbed another one today to give it another shot. Same problem! The flavor has totally disappeared. This used to be such a great snack and now it's just bland. Bring back the real Sweet Heat!
Utz ripples are seriously skimping on product these days. Just bought a bag of their sour cream and onion variety at a local grocery store and opened it up to find the bag was barely a quarter full. Not a quarter full of chips with some air, but legitimately only a quarter of the bag filled. This isn't the first time either - I've had this issue with Utz multiple times. You're paying full price which came to nearly five dollars, but you're actually getting maybe a dollar's worth of product. It's a bad deal and honestly pretty frustrating. If you value getting what you pay for, skip the Utz brand.
