What Shoppers Say About Wegovy
Wegovy receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with reviewers reporting significant side effects and disappointing weight loss results. Common complaints include severe nausea, headaches, fatigue, heightened sense of smell, and hair loss. Multiple reviewers switched from competing medication Mounjaro and found Wegovy substantially less effective, with some reporting no weight loss over two months or minimal loss over four months. Customers also express frustration with subscription lock-in policies, high costs, and customer service experiences involving unexpected charges and difficulty canceling orders.
The medication's appetite-suppressing effect appears inconsistent across users. Some experienced it initially before being overwhelmed by side effects, while others reported no appetite suppression at all. Reviewers frequently compare Wegovy unfavorably to Mounjaro, suggesting better efficacy and value with that alternative. The overall sentiment indicates shoppers do not recommend Wegovy based on their experiences with effectiveness, tolerability, and customer service interactions.

Sorted by: Most recentMy appetite took a nosedive within the first day, which was promising. Unfortunately, that's where the good news stopped. Within 24 to 48 hours I developed terrible nausea, heightened sense of smell, and constant headaches that just wouldn't go away. I felt drained and exhausted every single day. Even thinking about food made me feel sick. I lost 2 pounds that first week, but the second week with all these side effects was brutal. Decided not to do the third injection because the side effects were just too much to handle.
Didn't work for me at all. I switched from Mounjaro because the price was killing me, but this doesn't deliver results like that one did. Lost 22 pounds on Mounjaro, and absolutely nothing in 2 months with this. Going back to Mounjaro in a couple weeks since there are better deals out there if you shop around. Skip this one and save yourself the money.
Been on this for two months after switching from Mounjaro to save money, but it's been a huge letdown. Unlike Mounjaro, my appetite hasn't been suppressed at all, and I've wasted a lot of cash. The worst part is I'm locked into a three month subscription, so now I'm paying for something that's completely useless.
Used this for four months and reached 1.7mg, but I only dropped 2 pounds the entire time. The real problem was that I lost a bunch of hair 😭 When I brought this up, they blamed it on rapid weight loss, which doesn't make sense since 2 pounds over four months isn't exactly drastic. It seems like these GLP-1 drugs really do cause hair loss.
Really worried about what happened when I called their customer service line. First, I got transferred around to someone offering me gift cards and rewards, which seemed odd. When they finally connected me to the actual company after charging my card $4.95 for activation, I started having second thoughts. I asked to cancel, but the rep got defensive and insisted there was no way to reverse the charge since I'd already agreed to it. This whole experience has me questioning whether this is legitimate. I'm pretty frustrated right now.
