Really disappointed with the Drill Press top with fence that I bought. After three years, the white plastic surface started coming apart at the seams. Rockler won't replace it, even though it's already out of warranty. I'd say skip buying this product.

My shipment never left their facility but I had to sit around for ten business days before they'd even look at it. Once you add weekends and holidays into the mix, that turned into nineteen days. When I finally called the first time, I pointed out that the tracking showed the item as waiting for USPS to pick it up, and the rep told me I was wrong. Don't ask me how she knew that. I waited nineteen days like they wanted and called back only to hear that they could place a new order and it would ship in a few days. Why do I need to verify my email and phone when I already provided the order number?

I messed up by letting my phone autofill the wrong zip code, and that's on me. But what happened next showed how a company can take something fixable and decide not to fix it. I reached out before they even printed labels, then again once tracking numbers were created, and multiple times while my 422 dollar order was sitting in their warehouse. Every single time I got some excuse. Apparently customer service doesn't work weekends, except when they're picking orders. Then it magically operates, just not for helping people. Nothing got corrected. One shipment went on a weird USPS detour and came back. Two more showed up through UPS, and I got hit with a 42 dollar charge, not to fix the address, but to fix the mess they made by refusing to listen to me. A simple address check at checkout would have prevented all of this. Instead they have a broken website, customer service that's unavailable, and a setup that sneaks their own carelessness onto customers' bills. This wasn't bad fortune. This was a system that didn't work, kept up by apathy. I'm done with them.

Terrible company. I ordered a dust collection system that their site said was in stock. Days passed with no notification, so I contacted them asking about delivery. They told me it was backordered and would take three weeks, which was way too close to when I was planning to open my shop. More than five weeks go by and it's still not here. I get nothing in terms of updates. I call and they tell me sorry, another three weeks. Now I've got my whole operation at a standstill with five people on the payroll sitting around with no work. No solution in sight. The money this is going to cost me in lost productivity will run into the tens of thousands because they couldn't be bothered to communicate. Skip this company if your business matters to you.

Unbelievably bad customer service, and I won't be shopping there again. My shipment never showed up at my door, but they wanted me to pay for another one even though it was their problem. Some of these people really need training in how to treat customers.

This was my first time ordering from Rockler online, and they charged me for a project download that never showed up. I called customer service and they told me to check the website, but it wasn't there. When I tried to look up my order to figure out what was going on, the system didn't recognize the order number, yet they definitely charged my card for it. Update: I realized this was actually my own mistake since I was new to ordering from them. I called Rockler support back and they helped me find my order. My apologies.

Their return policy is ridiculous and they make it as hard as possible to actually return something. The staff is rude and the whole vibe is terrible. Won't be ordering from Rockler again. Woodcraft treats their customers way better.

I bought a license key for the Woodshop Calculator Subscription for one year. The key never came through to my email. So I ordered again. Still no key. Customer service said the order was being processed and they couldn't issue a refund. That was November 24th. It's now November 30th and both orders are still stuck on processing and I don't have either license key. It's literally just sending an email with a code. I have no clue why this is such a problem.

I placed my order ten days ago and it still hasn't even made it to the carrier yet.

I ordered paper plans for some patio furniture more than a month ago. Still sitting on backorder after all this time. They're literally just paper plans! Would it really be that hard to send a PDF to a copy shop or just email me the file so I can handle copies myself? Who's in charge at this place?

Come on, Rockler! If I don't give you permission to sell my information, I can't even view your website? That's a bad move. You're shooting yourself in the foot doing business this way.

Years back I bought one of their router tables and the current router lift to go with it. It did the job really well over time, and as someone who worked there part time later on, I sold plenty of the same setup because people knew it worked. Now Rockler has rolled out new lift models and stopped selling replacement inserts for the original lift. The only way to get inserts now is to buy their pricey aluminum pop ups for the newer lifts, which don't even fit the old one. This is the Rockler pattern. They sell you a solution for your woodworking, then they move on to something else and leave you stuck with equipment you can't get parts for anymore. Someone will probably argue that they can't stock parts for everything they've ever sold and have to make choices. That's nonsense. I reached out to customer service asking if the original lift inserts were still available and I just get silence. Look, Rockler has lots of good stuff in their catalog, but

Absolutely terrible customer service, or should I say zero customer service. They won't give you tracking details. They ignore your emails. Just stay away. You can do so much better than this.

While visiting family in North Carolina in November 2023, I stopped by the local Rockler store and picked up a new Script font Sign Making Kit. When I got home and opened it up, I discovered several pieces were missing. I reached out to Rockler Customer Care, but they mentioned they don't ship to my country. I provided them with a U.S. address and a copy of my receipt like they asked. Their reply said that since I bought it at a store, I'd need to handle it with them directly. After a few back and forth messages and phone calls, Marcela from Customer Care finally stepped up. She treated my problem like it actually mattered, got a case number going, and made sure the missing parts got sent to me. Marcela, thank you for showing you genuinely care about your customers.

They're really slow to respond and seem to go out of their way to find reasons to reject returns for broken items. I've bought stuff over the past couple months. The smaller orders come through fine. But I ordered a Leigh dovetail jig on December 7th that showed in stock, got my confirmation, and got charged. Ten days pass with nothing. I call and someone says it was just pulled and I should see a shipping notice soon. By December 23rd, still nothing. No email responses either. I also ordered a Phenolic router table top. When it arrived it looked okay, but when I flipped it over to attach the dust collector, it cut my hand. I filed a return request on December 7th about the cracked top. Ten days later they ask for pictures of the packaging, the label, and to confirm my address, which I did, then say there was no damage to the packaging even though the top is definitely cracked through to the miter track. Still no response from me after that. Doesn't feel good about putting money down for bigger items with them. They make you call, wait times are forever, and nothing seems to actually get handled. Still don't have that expensive Leigh jig I paid for weeks ago and no updates, no shipping. Be cautious.
