We spent time at the Olive Treehouse in Ripe and it was absolutely incredible. The moment we walked in, we were stunned. Beautiful, immaculate, and super thoughtful in every way. The treehouse has such unique and creative décor while still feeling cozy and peaceful. The countryside around it is gorgeous. What made it really special though was the owner, Debbie. She was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and what she did was so sweet I'll never forget it. She picked up my favorite drinks, chocolates, and flowers, wrote a card, and made sure the day felt extra special. You can tell she takes so much pride in her places and really cares about her guests.

Had one of the best getaways of my life at the olive tree house down in East Sussex. I've stayed at tons of different lodges over the years, but this place really stands out. Every little detail was thoughtfully done and it showed real care. Definitely coming back soon.

Stay away from this company. The cottage wasn't well maintained and clearly hadn't been properly inspected by management. After we complained and followed up repeatedly, they just stopped answering. Looking at reviews on here, half the feedback about them is negative, which says something. Better options out there.

Not happy with how they handled our request. We have a pet with a medical situation and asked if we could reschedule. They said no because it was close to the dates, even though we weren't trying to cancel outright just move it to protect our animal. Won't be going back. I also want to note that I didn't give permission to have private health details about my pet shared publicly in responses.

Whoever built their website made some pretty poor choices. All I'm trying to do in the limited time I have is browse for a quick getaway. But there's this annoying chat pop-up constantly asking if I want help, and then a newsletter signup box at the bottom I can't close. I'd probably look elsewhere if I hadn't been using them for so long.

Our stay at Sundown in Widemouth Bay was fantastic. It hits all the marks you want from a place like this. The house is gorgeous and clean, there's a nice welcome basket, and the setting is beautiful. We got in super easily with the keycode entry. We book with them for all our UK trips and honestly have no complaints.

The host Jennifer was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The kettle was already on and the welcome basket was incredible. She knew all the best spots along the coast and made great recommendations. We fell in love with the dogs on the property and honestly didn't want to leave. When we got a flat tire our last night, her partner offered to help right away. The peace and quiet at this place, combined with how welcome we felt, made it special. We'll definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks so much for making our stay memorable.

Stayed at the Cygnet apartment right in Harrogate and it was wonderful. The owner was really thoughtful and the space itself is gorgeous. There was a nice selection of treats already in the kitchen along with everything you'd need, plus a bottle of sparkling wine waiting.

Huge thanks to their team for how they handled our cancellation request following a loss in the family. They processed it quickly and showed real compassion. That's the kind of customer care you want to see.

My issue here is that they shared my personal information with other companies without my consent, despite me clearly opting out of all marketing communications. I specifically checked those boxes saying not to share my details, but they did anyway. It's a breach of trust that I take seriously. The vacations themselves were fine, but knowing they don't respect data privacy stops me from booking with them again. I contacted them about it and got no real response. This kind of thing violates data protection laws and I'm planning to file a complaint with the appropriate authorities.

Fantastic time at the lighthouse in Cornwall. Everything was smooth from the booking process through check-in. The welcome basket was great, and the place was spotless with everything you'd need already there. Looking forward to another visit next year.

Had a wonderful weekend at the property in the North York Moors with family. Seven of us total including two little ones. The house was stunning, well-stocked, and really comfortable. The views over the valley were gorgeous. Lots of great spots to visit nearby too. One issue though: there's a steep flight of stone steps from the parking area with no railing, which would be really tricky for anyone with mobility concerns. Plus there's an unexpected step right inside the front door that I actually tripped on. Both of these things could be easily fixed, and honestly they would have made this a perfect five-star experience.

Poor experience with how they managed things when the owner backed out. They took our booking and our deposit. Actually took it twice, and I had to hound them to refund the duplicate. Then months down the road they call to say the owner is canceling, and the reasons kept changing between double booking, taking it by mistake, and the owner moving back from overseas. Still waiting for the deposit. We're going back to using smaller local companies because they actually care about keeping customers happy.
