Been ordering from them for about a year now and mostly had good experiences. My first order was three pairs and one arrived in the wrong size, but swapping it out was painless. I've picked up several more pairs since then. There was one discounted pair near the end of their product cycle where the tongue strap came undone, but nothing major. Customer service has been fine though shipping is a bit slow lately. My biggest complaint is the insoles they include. They're surprisingly uncomfortable for the price point and some shoes have them glued down so you're basically forced to replace them. I've noticed other people mentioning sizing problems but haven't dealt with that myself beyond getting the wrong size in a box one time.

Finally managed to snag a pair of loafers I really liked since they're almost always out of stock. Unfortunately, the shipping experience has been a nightmare. They used some slow third-party carrier and it's been over a week with multiple delivery date changes and still nothing at my door. Even worse, trying to contact customer support is basically impossible. The chat system shows a wait time for a queue but nobody actually comes on the line to help. At this price point, I expected a much more professional experience overall.

Bought two pairs of boots for my husband's Christmas gift totaling six hundred dollars, but he needed a size thirteen and they sent a twelve. Taft arranged a UPS label for returns since we live overseas and get mail through APO. It's been nearly five months now and I'm still waiting on a replacement for one pair while we credited the other. Two separate replacements were sent but one has been stuck in Pennsylvania since late February and the other in Georgia since April. Their latest message said it could take up to forty-five days, which doesn't make sense considering mail to our APO has never taken more than ten days in all our years abroad. Taft's website advertises worldwide delivery and free shipping over a hundred fifty dollars. The shoes themselves are unique and well-made, but the customer service experience doesn't match the quality of the product.

Ordered shoes in my regular size and they didn't fit right at all. I've reached out to customer service seven times through email and haven't gotten a single real response, just automated replies. I'm sitting on six hundred dollars worth of merchandise and they're completely ignoring me. This is incredibly frustrating.

Then out of nowhere it finally showed up at my door. Clearly something went wrong with the shipping system, but completely failing to respond to any of my contact attempts was unacceptable.

Ordered size 9.5 but received a 9 instead, which is way too small to wear. Contacted them multiple times but their phone line doesn't work and they're completely unresponsive to emails. The shoes themselves look nice in person, but I'd definitely recommend being cautious with this company. Buyer beware.

The Paris Boot in Black Floral is absolutely gorgeous to look at. Unfortunately wearing them was painful from day one. Five minutes of walking and I had blisters all over my feet. I'm seriously considering using a hammer to beat them into shape because I really do want to wear them again. They look amazing but the fit is rigid and unforgiving.

Really wanted these boots to work out but after a few months I had to stop wearing them because of intense foot pain. My right foot is slightly bigger than my left and after just three or four hours of wearing these, I'd get this sharp pain that I've never experienced with any other shoe. Eventually had to give them to someone else. The boot looks beautiful and well-made but the discomfort is impossible to ignore.

Grabbed the jack boot and was really excited about it, but ended up being one of the worst purchases I've made. Don't let the flashy marketing fool you into thinking these are quality shoes. The material is cheap and flimsy, and they're seriously uncomfortable to wear. The photos on their site are super misleading compared to what you actually get. Asking nearly $300 for this kind of quality feels like a total rip-off. Genuinely disappointed.

I don't get all the negative reviews. Taft makes quality products and prices them fairly for what you're getting. Every single thing I've bought from them has been excellent.

Their boots look great but the stock management is a mess. I waited months for a Black Friday sale on the Viking boot because I can't justify full price, and within hours of the sale starting it was completely gone with no restocks expected until next year. When I asked customer support about it, they mentioned it's been the most popular boot all year. If that's true, wouldn't they have adjusted production to keep up with demand? The boot has been constantly sold out, so I gave up and spent my money somewhere else. I do like another pair I bought from them before, but I can't recommend them at full price.

Discovered Taft through social media and grabbed their black chelsea boot. Got a nice twenty dollar first-time discount too. I'm usually size 11 and the quality of these is really impressive. The material feels premium and the design is super clean. Best part is they're actually comfortable to wear without any pain or blistering. They were three hundred dollars, which isn't cheap, but if you're willing to spend a bit more for a well-made boot, I'd definitely check them out.
