They used a vac system to extract oil from the top instead of from underneath, which was different from what I expected. I questioned what they were doing and why, and they said they use this method on about half their vehicles. I went along with it. The next day the oil pressure warning light started coming on randomly, so I brought it back for them to check. The oil filter and level were fine. A week later my vehicle began leaking oil, and I was adding about a quart weekly with puddles forming on my driveway. My mechanic confirmed the leak was coming from the oil pressure sensor. Given that this company is known for refusing to take responsibility for technician mistakes, I wanted to share this as a warning. Anyone considering this place should really think twice about letting them use that top vac method. How can they accurately measure how much oil goes in that way?

I've been a longtime customer of Valvoline, but lately the service has gotten really bad. In recent years I keep finding mistakes. They always leave big messes under my vehicle and forget to grease the chassis. When I asked why the last time, they said they don't have a grease gun and can't lubricate without one. After I called customer service to complain, they basically told me to find somewhere else to go.

This newer location has been the worst experience. I previously took both vehicles for maintenance, but yesterday they put the wrong oil in one of my cars. My car calls for zero W thirty and they attempted to put five W thirty. Thankfully the service wasn't completed. On my first visit to this location when it first opened, they put zero W thirty EURO, which apparently doesn't satisfy the same specifications as standard zero W thirty. Anyone using this place should be aware they could damage one of your biggest assets. I can't understand how people feel comfortable trusting these folks with their vehicles. I will never use this company again. They cannot be trusted with even the most basic service work. I honestly wouldn't even let them do a tire rotation at this point. I almost have more confidence in the other quick lube chain, and that's saying something bad since I'd never really trust them either. The manager even mentioned they got communication saying they shouldn't perform these oil services since they fail to meet requirements. That raises serious questions about how many faulty services they've already done.

It makes you wonder how many bad oil changes they've already done to other customers. At least nothing got done to my car by incompetent people yesterday. I won't let them touch my car for anything.

This company is absolutely the worst. They lie, mess up your vehicle, and even when they're found responsible, they don't fix it. When we took them to court they never even showed up, then claimed they weren't served properly so they shouldn't have to pay anything. Still waiting for them to file their appeal because I'm ready for round two. The customer service person we dealt with was terrible. You're way better off changing your oil yourself because they have so many lawsuits against them it's unbelievable they're still in business. Would've been better if they got shut down years ago. Do not go to this company ever. I've started a Facebook group for people dealing with issues to come together legally, and if you've had problems with them, please join so we can pursue this as a group.

If you can't afford to pay for damages they cause, steer clear of this company. My elderly mother took her brand new vehicle to their location and they broke some clips while replacing a return bulb. When she took it to the dealership to get it fixed, they confirmed the clips were damaged. She called to report it and they told her their technician had already informed her it was broken and that they put green tape on it, which is completely false. My mom would have said something immediately if that had happened, but she didn't. This is her very first brand new car and she's proud of it. They refused to fix their mistake, and customer service won't let her speak to a manager, claiming they can't share that information with the public, even though it's easily available. She tried the ethics and compliance number they advertise but kept getting directed back to customer service with no actual way to file a report. Do not use this company if you care about your vehicle.

I want to share what happened to me so nobody else gets caught in the same situation. I purchased a discount coupon for an oil change valued at fifty-three dollars and called their customer service to confirm which option to choose. The representative assured me I'd only pay seven dollars extra after using the coupon. After the service was complete, I was shocked to learn the coupon only counted toward twenty-four dollars of the total bill. Suddenly I owed seventy-four more, meaning I lost money on the coupon AND paid above standard pricing. I requested they review the phone recording of my initial call where the seven dollar amount was quoted, since they record everything, but they refused to pull it before closing. They told me to pay right then or they wouldn't give me my ID back. When I asked if we could review the call tomorrow, they said I had to pay now. I felt extremely pressured and helpless. There was no supervisor to help and no willingness to settle this fairly. I paid against my better judgment based on a promise they're now backing away from.

I want to warn others about my experience with this oil change place. They told me to either pay immediately or leave without my keys, and to come back tomorrow if I wanted them to listen to the recording. I felt completely trapped and taken advantage of. There was no manager available and no genuine effort to make it right. I paid based on a promise they've refused to honor.

Brought in my 2020 Hyundai Tucson for an oil change and they failed to refill the oil, which caused serious engine damage. I contacted Valvoline corporate to file a complaint and request resolution. The manager at the location got back to me but was incredibly rude, talking over me and speaking loudly. I had to end the call to avoid getting angry in response. He shut down the case without informing me or corporate, and I only found out four days later when I called corporate again to check on the status. At this point I'm planning to report them to the Better Business Bureau and seek legal counsel.

Whoever's in charge at the location on that road in town is doing fantastic. Service is quick and excellent. Definitely bringing it with great energy.

We trusted this company with our fleet business and they completely dropped the ball. We have several one ton Ram trucks and were interested in their Fleet Advantage service through corporate. Visited three times, and initially the manager seemed helpful. One time they skipped the fuel and water filter, but we brought it back to finish the job, though it was frustrating. My driver came off the road and we had to arrange for him to drive out for service. Today we took a truck in and after the oil change, they told us they couldn't finish the job and wanted us to take it somewhere else. They had four mechanics on staff and claimed they weren't strong enough to remove the filters. We drove it to their other location and they wanted almost four hundred dollars for the filters and service, when our fleet agreement covered everything for under three hundred. We lost an entire day, wasted our time, and were treated disrespectfully and unprofessionally. We won't be bringing any of our trucks or personal vehicles back.

We decided to try this place instead of our dealership and walked out paying one hundred forty-five dollars for an oil change, which is outrageous. They never explained the pricing upfront, and by the time we got the bill it was a shock. I typically pay seventy-five to ninety dollars at the dealership for my high-end car that requires synthetic. The staff wasn't very helpful either explaining costs. This was at the location in Massachusetts. These guys overcharge customers for service and then tacked on another twenty dollars after we left because they said my vehicle needed an extra quart of oil, which I find hard to believe. Won't be returning there again.
