Had a really frustrating experience with my order placed on a Monday. They made a shipping label that same day, but by Thursday nothing had actually been shipped out. When I asked what was going on, they just resent me the label from Monday instead of explaining the delay. After following up multiple times via email, they stopped responding altogether. I don't get why it takes more than a week to get something ready to ship or why they won't even give customers an explanation for the hold-up.

Ordered a pair of boots for a wedding later this month. My card was declined on the first attempt so I went back and double-checked everything. The order went through that time. I never got a confirmation email though. The charge did show up in my bank account. Reached out to customer service both by email and phone to find out where my order was at. I thought maybe I'd give them a chance again this year but here I am in the exact same position with another order that won't arrive in time. I checked with the carrier and they told me the items were never even handed to them for delivery, just labels were printed.

Bought three farm boy freedom hats from Sheplers and was really let down when they arrived. The quality was shockingly bad, like the cheapest knock-off versions I've ever seen. They weren't worth more than a few dollars, not twenty-five each. The listing specifically said farm boy freedom hats but what I got was a completely different brand with no farm boy branding at all. This feels like straight up fraud. Thanks for wasting my money and time Sheplers. If you care about honesty at all, don't shop from this company online.

They have great products and carry quality US workwear brands that are hard to find elsewhere, especially in the UK. The prices are fair for what you get including shipping costs. However, the customer service here is really disappointing. Out of the three orders I've placed, every single one had problems with it. It's annoying, but what really upset me is that nobody from their team ever contacts you to let you know something went wrong. My first order had a missing product code that got canceled without notice even though they'd already charged me. The second order was being pulled from another location and took two months they couldn't get it. My latest order was listed as in stock but turned out to be on backorder. They don't have any way to alert customers when problems happen, so you're stuck chasing down customer service just to find out what's going on. I even reached out after my recent order specifically asking them to contact me if anything came up, and they left me hanging for a week before I had to contact them myself only to learn my item wasn't even available.
