GE Appliances Savings Hacks

Combine Free Shipping With Discounts

RetailCoupons.com lists offers that bundle percentage or dollar-amount discounts with free shipping. Using these combined deals maximizes savings on bulky appliance orders that would normally incur high delivery fees.

Stack Appliance Part Discounts

If you are purchasing replacement parts alongside a new appliance, look for part-specific coupon codes listed on RetailCoupons.com. Separate discounts for parts and appliances can reduce your total cart value.

Check For Seasonal Promotions

Major appliance retailers often run larger discounts during holiday weekends and seasonal sales events. Monitor RetailCoupons.com regularly to catch these limited-time offers before they expire.

Review Customer Feedback Before Purchase

Large appliance purchases benefit from reading customer reviews on the retailer's site to confirm product reliability and support quality. This prevents costly returns and ensures you are investing in a dependable model.

GE Appliances Shipping Policy

GE Appliances typically arranges delivery for major appliances through third-party carriers. Shipping costs and delivery timeframes vary based on your location and the specific product; check the product page and cart summary for estimated delivery dates and fees. Some promotions include free shipping, so confirm the offer terms before checkout.

GE Appliances Returns & Refund Policy

Return policies for appliances generally allow a specific window from the purchase date; you should review GE Appliances' specific return terms on their website or in your order confirmation. Appliance returns often require the product to be in original condition and may involve return shipping fees or restocking charges, so contact customer service before initiating a return.

GE Appliances is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 21 shoppers on RetailCoupons.com, with reviews indicating serious quality and customer service concerns. Shoppers report major defects appearing within months of purchase, including washing machines that leak and fail, dishwashers with faulty heating elements, and dryers with broken start buttons. Multiple reviewers describe lengthy battles to obtain replacements or repairs, with some waiting months for resolution while being told it is their responsibility to follow up. Several customers note that known manufacturing issues were not communicated to service technicians, compounding frustration.

Beyond product failures, shoppers cite poor delivery communication (orders placed on back order without proactive notification), unresponsive customer service, and repair costs that approach or exceed the original purchase price. Long-term owners express particular disappointment, noting that even older appliances (purchased years ago) require expensive repairs. The consistent theme across reviews is that GE products fail prematurely and the company does not stand behind them effectively, leaving customers to navigate repair processes on their own.

Ordered a washing machine for delivery on March 28th, which happens to be today. Haven't gotten any text or call confirmations yet, so I decided to call GE myself. Come to find out, the order was supposedly on back order until May 4th. They also had the nerve to tell me it was my responsibility to call them and ask about it. Let me be clear here: I set up a delivery date of March 28th right on the GE website when I made the purchase, got an email confirmation of both the order and that delivery date, and apparently it's somehow my fault for not knowing it wasn't actually going to arrive today. I cancelled that order immediately and will never buy a GE product again. This is actually the third item I've ordered from their website in the last six months and I'm getting rid of all of them and switching to a different brand for everything in my home.

This washing machine lasted only four months before it completely exploded! Water started pouring from the ceiling, and the washer was right in the middle of the laundry room. That was October 26, 2025. Today we're in late February 2026, and we're still going back and forth with GE to get a replacement. A technician came out and said it couldn't be fixed. GE finally sent a replacement washer, but it showed up dented and covered in paint chips. Why would I accept a replacement that's already damaged goods? I bought the original in June 2025, used it for four months, and now I've been without a working washer for the last four months. Someone at GE needs to explain this situation better. You've got to do better with your customer support.

Got a new dishwasher that turned out to have a faulty heating element right from the factory. It took three attempts and a ridiculous amount of my time to figure this out. GE apparently knew about it but just never bothered telling the repair technician. What really frustrated me was all the wasted time and constantly hitting dead ends trying to reach someone who could actually help. Getting in touch with GE supervisors is like talking to a wall where nobody will give you their name, phone, or email address. When I asked when I'd hear back, they said in four days. Here I am again, having to sit around waiting on them to maybe call at some unknown time. GE, absolutely never again for me.

We got a Hotpoint washer and dryer combination in September 2025. Almost immediately the dryer's start button quit functioning. It had a small crack underneath the button that stopped it from making proper contact. It needed replacing. Jump ahead to February 2026 (five months later) and the washing machine began squeaking and leaking oil all across my laundry room floor. They sent me to Bodewell to arrange a warranty repair visit. The first tech never showed. I called Bodewell and learned they offer choices between two companies. One is located across the state and doesn't service my area. The other company told me directly they don't perform warranty work. Awful warranty repair process. Both machines are trash and getting scrapped. I absolutely will not buy another GE branded appliance.

Donna E.Feb 10, 2026

Bought a Hotpoint washer and dryer set back in September 2025. The dryer's start button basically stopped working right away. It had a hairline crack on the underside that kept it from clicking properly. Had to get it replaced. Five months roll by to February 2026 and the washing machine starts making a squeaking noise and starts leaking oil everywhere on my floor. I was told to call Bodewell to arrange a warranty service appointment. The first appointment they set up was a complete no-show. I phoned Bodewell directly and found out they had two different repair companies to choose from. One operates out of the opposite end of the state and doesn't service my region. I spoke with someone at the other company and they told me they don't handle warranty repairs at all. The warranty support is completely broken. These appliances are absolute garbage and headed to the scrap metal facility. No way am I ever purchasing another GE product.

Back in 2019 I invested in three big GE appliances, and in just under seven years I'm really disappointed by the whole bunch. Last year I had to fork out over $400 fixing my dishwasher and most recently got a repair quote of $2,432 for an induction range I only paid $2,095 for initially. That's absolutely ridiculous. The corporation has shown me absolutely zero interest in helping. Don't count on GE for long-term dependability. Shop somewhere else instead. Today's quality just doesn't match what you're paying for.

Marcus W.Jan 21, 2026

I bought three major GE appliances back in 2019, so less than seven years ago, and I'm really let down by all of them. In 2023 alone, I had to pay more than $400 just to fix my dishwasher. Recently I got an estimate of $2,432 from GE to repair an induction cooktop I originally paid $2,095 for. That's insane. The company's support has been completely unhelpful. If you're counting on GE to deliver lasting dependability, you should look at other brands instead. The current quality doesn't come close to matching the premium price you're paying.

Got a GE 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner from the big box store. The model was AUFS12WWL2. Been running it for a month and it's not working right at all. Called the store and they said it's under the manufacturer warranty so I need to reach out to GE directly. That phone call to GE was a joke. They told me I'd have to buy a new unit and then they'd cut me a check for the old one somewhere between six to eight weeks after they get the invoice from the store for the new one. So basically I'm out about a grand for two months while I wait. Plus I'd need to purchase another GE product, which I absolutely won't do since the first one was faulty. By the way, we bought a GE stove from the same place four years ago. The repair guy had to come out the first month, then again four months after that saying it was a common issue. He finally got it working but the top burner plate ended up totally warped. The store and GE both deserve shame for this. GE, start making your stuff in the USA. I won't purchase anything with that name on it anymore and if you're thinking about it yourself, look into their return policies first. And I'm completely done with the store too.

Bought myself a GE dehumidifier that konked out after half a year with an error message. Had a one year warranty on it. When I called GE, they said they don't actually repair that model and suggested I purchase another one from the store and send them the receipt so they'll reimburse me. The catch is the store doesn't have any more in stock and I'd need to figure out how to get rid of the broken one. Being 81 years old, I'm not exactly equipped to handle moving around these heavy machines. That's supposed to be a warranty? Not in my book.

We bought what was supposed to be a commercial grade washer three years back with a five year protection plan. The plastic pulley has been stripping out five times over the past year alone. The appliance retailer we purchased it from has replaced the pulley and belt three separate times since GE flatly refused to replace the whole unit. On the fourth failure, a few months ago, GE sent their own service company. That tech swapped out the pulley and belt, then tightened everything he could access. GE still refused to do a replacement. Every breakdown left us without a washer for around ten days, forcing us to hit the laundromat. It just failed for the fifth time and we've already ordered a different brand, even though we've got two more years of coverage remaining on this terrible warranty. The repeated interruptions and laundromat bills just aren't worth it. We filed complaints with GE and even the state Attorney General but learned there's nothing they can actually do.

James B.Dec 3, 2025

Got this supposed commercial grade washer three years ago that came with a five year warranty. The plastic pulley has literally stripped out five times in just one year. Our local appliance store replaced the pulley and belt three times on their dime because GE refused to swap out the whole machine. When it happened a fourth time about four months back, GE sent their own service tech. He swapped the pulley, belt, and tightened whatever he could reach. Still refused to replace it. Every single failure meant no washer for roughly ten days, which meant trips to the laundromat. Now it's failed a fifth time and we already ordered a completely different brand even though we still have almost two years left on this useless warranty. The constant inconvenience and laundromat costs just aren't worth it anymore. We complained to GE and even the state Attorney General but apparently there's nothing anyone can do.

I purchased a GE Model GGF600AVSS gas range on January 30th of this year and had it switched over to propane when it arrived. Every time the stove tries to ignite, it makes a sound like a blast. When the burner actually turns on, it howls like a blowtorch. It's genuinely unsettling thinking the place might explode. Techs came out on March 4th and 18th, then went out again May 29th and July 24th. On that last date they informed me that engineering had determined there was no possible fix. The gas company checked our house regulators a couple times and said they work correctly. I mailed a letter to corporate in September. They phoned back saying they wanted a recording of the noise and promised to email me a link, but the link never showed up. Been unable to get in touch with them since. I'm shopping for a replacement range and will never purchase a GE product again.

Michael P.Nov 28, 2025

Back on January 30th of this year I got a GE Model GGF600AVSS gas range and had it converted to propane at delivery. When the stove ignites, it literally sounds like an explosion. Once the burner kicks on it sounds like a blowtorch. Pretty terrifying when you think your house might blow up. I've had repair folks out here multiple times: March 4th and 18th, then again on May 29th and July 24th. That last visit in July, they told me the engineering team said there's no solution. Our gas company checked the house regulators twice and confirmed they're working fine. I wrote a letter to GE corporate in September. Someone called me back saying they wanted a recording of the burner and promised to send a link by email. Never got that link. Haven't been able to reach them since. I'm never buying another GE product and I'm actively shopping for a different brand to replace this range.

Nancy V.Nov 22, 2025

I've bought three different GE microwaves over time. The first one made it five or six years. The second lasted about three years. The most recent one, and it's definitely my last, only made it one year and twenty-three days. Twenty-three days beyond when the warranty expired. GE microwaves just aren't reliable and the quality is really poor. Seriously, don't buy them.

Sarah K.Nov 15, 2025

My experience with these two GE appliances has been really disappointing considering they're only a few years old. I had a fridge and microwave that worked great for over 25 years before I replaced them. These new ones? Not even close. The Profile refrigerator cost me four grand. Right after the warranty ended, problems started popping up one after another. The freezer fan failed and I had to install a replacement myself. The auto fill water feature barely works and either doesn't fill at all or overflows, which ended up destroying the drawer board and I need to buy a new one. Now there's another fan going out. Plus the icemaker isn't working and I don't know how much it'll cost to fix. The microwave's LED screen just flashes all the time and needs a new main board. I won't buy another GE product ever again. They're not a smart investment and seem built to break down with no quality checks. You're just going to end up spending tons of money on repairs.
