I've been buying from them for quite some time now. Their shoes are sturdy and fit well. I got a pair of Targhee IV and the stitching came loose after barely wearing them. I brought them back and they gave me a full refund without any hassle. It's nice when a company stands behind what they sell. This good experience means I'm definitely planning to grab the Targhee Vs as soon as they're available.

Worst boots I could have bought. Purchased men's Targhee III mid-height boots about a year ago. Wearing them once or twice weekly on roughly 7 mile walks, they've fallen apart. Started with cracks in the rand, then the upper separated from the sole around the edges. Lost waterproofing in just nine months and now one sole is peeling completely away from the upper. I've worn many different walking boots through the years and these are hands down the worst. After just over a year they're completely ruined. What a disappointment for the price.

Wish I'd looked at reviews before buying. I purchased Keen boots years ago that were decent. When those started falling apart I bought another pair. Since Keen was exiting the UK market, I grabbed an extra pair for later since finding my size is always tricky. Bad call! After barely any wear, my second pair split open in two spots. Based on what others have written, I'm not optimistic about my third pair. I can't add a retroactive date but pair number two was purchased in November 2024 and I only started wearing them about four or five months later before they became useless.

The waterproof boots felt good but the stitching started falling apart pretty quickly. It's really frustrating because they used to be dependable. I won't be buying again.

Four years ago I got my first pair of Keen boots and absolutely loved them so much I wore them daily. The quality was so good I bought a second pair. Both were the best boots I'd ever owned. A third pair didn't last nearly as long, but since I picked those up from another retailer, I figured they might have been counterfeits and didn't worry about it. Then I ordered a fourth pair directly from Keen. They fell apart in the first week. The stitching completely gave out. I reached out to Keen and got a claim number plus instructions to send photos and my receipt, which I did. I've followed up four times now and keep getting the same generic response asking for the same photos and receipt again. For a 165 dollar purchase, I should get way better results. Better boots and better support. My next pair of boots won't be Keens.

I've purchased many Keen products over the years, but my newest hiking boots started separating at the seams and compromised the waterproof seal after just four months. I filled out their online claim form and replied to the confirmation email with photos as they requested. Within five days, I got a credit toward a replacement that I could use on their site. I placed an order for new boots and had them within three more days. This is hands down the easiest warranty experience I've ever had.

I'm stunned by all the bad reviews out there. The only explanation I can come up with is people buying counterfeits from sketchy websites or secondhand sellers. These are honestly the best shoes I've ever owned. My daughter recommended them before my hiking vacation and they arrived just in time. My three year old grandson has a pair too and we all tested them hard. We spent 8 plus hours daily climbing rocks on Majorcan mountains, wading through streams, and not one person got blisters or slipped. I have arthritis in my big toe and felt zero pain. Make sure you actually put time into fitting them right using the bungee laces and adjust them if your feet swell from heat. I'd give these 10 stars if I could. Even Keen's own website warns about counterfeit sellers, so buy from them directly and verify the official site. Your feet will thank you.
