Sperry doesn't follow through on what they advertise. I got boots from their website and they had a promotion for new customers to get fifteen percent off. I ordered as a guest and signed up for text and email notifications about my order. I got an order confirmation but didn't see the fifteen percent taken off. My order is being processed but hasn't shipped yet. I called customer service and they said since I didn't create an account with a password I couldn't use the new customer discount. That's nowhere on their website. They told me I could get ten percent off if I sign up for my next order.

Really like Sperry shoes. Haven't dealt with their customer service so can't speak to that but I'm a huge fan of their storm hiker snow boots. I haven't needed new ones in a long time because the pair I have keeps holding up even though I wear them weekly. Would tell my friends to get them.

My daughter got duck boots as a Christmas gift but needed a different size so I wanted to swap them for another size. Turns out this established company that you'd think could handle a simple exchange apparently can't. What's worse is the boot was marked final sale during Thanksgiving weekend when people are mostly buying gifts. I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated with Sperry. I know the customer service people aren't making the policies but I wanted to talk to a supervisor and was told no. What started as being upset about the boots and not being able to get a different size turned into a really unprofessional conversation with the call center. Sperry I won't buy from you again and I'm telling people to be careful before spending money with this company. Buyer beware.

The actual shoes are good quality but the customer service is really terrible. Getting responses takes forever and when you do they're generic and they don't actually try to fix things. Packages never get to you when promised and when there's a delay nobody tells you what's going on. Returns and dealing with issues becomes a nightmare with no understanding and zero follow-up. The real problem here isn't the shoes themselves it's how they treat customers after you've given them your money.

I ordered boat shoes on early December for a Christmas present. It's now late December and they still haven't shipped out. I tried calling but the wait time was super long so I tried using chat instead but it just sent me around in circles and I couldn't get anyone to actually help me.

I bought two pairs of boat shoes in different colors. On their website the product photos for both clearly showed shoes without regular shoelaces and no crossing lacing pattern. But what I got were two pairs that definitely need laces tied which is totally not what the pictures showed and not what I wanted. I had a vacation coming up so I didn't have time to return them and get replacements. I called customer service and the rep told me that other people have reported this issue too and that they already asked for the website pictures to be updated but they still haven't changed them. Since I was in a time crunch I politely asked for one replacement pair but they said no unless I shipped the ones back first which I couldn't do. This whole thing shows they have inaccurate photos and won't work with customers. I'm not going to shop there anymore.

I got rain boots just under two years ago. I only wore them when it actually rained. A year later both boots had rips in the exact same spot. I called the company to ask if there was anything they could do. The boots were eighty dollars. They said no. The boots can't be fixed and taping them won't help. I wouldn't recommend this company based on both the products and how they handle customer service. They clearly don't stand behind what they sell.

I ordered two pairs in my size from the website and had charges go through twice but then both orders got canceled. Sperry's just not running their business right.

My first order shipped to a USA address instead of where I actually needed it delivered. Their tracking wasn't great but they did refund me so that worked out. I placed another order and had to wait again. When it finally got here the leather quality is clearly not good. I'm wondering how long these shoes will actually last me.

I don't even want to give Sperry a one star rating they deserve a zero. Everything about them is wrong including the customer service people you have to talk to. Their website is just not good and you can't modify or change anything which is just as bad. I had two pairs and the material on both was garbage.

I'm writing this because of Sperry's bad shoe quality and poor customer service. The sole started separating from the canvas in less than a month. They told me to bring them back to the store where I bought them which isn't doable for me. It became my problem to figure out with zero offer to replace or refund. Stay away from this brand because their return policy doesn't support customers. Go with companies that actually make things right and stand behind their products. Sperry isn't the right choice for me.

Total garbage. I've been wearing Sperry shoes since I was a kid back in the 1970s. Over the Christmas holiday I ordered four pairs using their sizing tool. The quality is awful. My feet are a certain size so I ordered up a half size to be safe. They came today and they're totally wrong for my feet. Clearly these are made in China for different foot shapes. I will absolutely not buy Sperry online again. This is completely terrible. The best way to grow a business is through word of mouth and recommendations. I would never tell anyone to buy from them.

Customer service here is really bad. I placed an order and never got any email about when it would show up and it's been almost a month now. When I finally called I learned my order wasn't even processed to begin with. I agreed to have them process it anyway but now they don't have the size and color I wanted in stock anymore. This is terrible service and I won't be ordering from them again.
