I have to say this is the worst shoe company I've ever dealt with. I spent $400 on boots seven months ago and the heel fell off. Even though I bought them through a third party retailer, I reached out to Frye directly because I thought there was a two year warranty. They flat out told me no warranty exists and refused to do anything about it. Total disaster. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for shoes.

The customer service here is terrible. The boots themselves are fine, but they don't fit true to size and the company refuses to let you swap them out for a different size.

Our package never showed up and now we're stuck trying to get either a replacement shipment, store credit, or our money back. Getting help from their team has been nearly impossible. They keep saying they'll call back and then don't.

The sizing information on their site is way off from what I actually received. The leather quality has gone way down compared to the boots I bought from them before. The prices keep going up while the quality goes down. They also advertise sizes as available when they're not. Then they want you to pay shipping to return their mistakes. I was a repeat customer for years, but losing me over $12 in shipping fees and cheap leather wasn't worth it.

I'm really let down by Frye right now. I bought a purse that lasted about four months before the anchor on the strap broke. I contacted them within the one year warranty window they included with my purchase and sent photos, my receipt, and a copy of their warranty. They rejected my claim and said they don't honor their written warranties. This is crazy because I've bought several Frye purses over the years. Now that I know they won't stand behind what they print on paper, I'm done shopping with them.

Who sends someone two left shoes and then refuses to fix it? I dropped $300 on boots and received a matching pair of left feet. Their customer service won't make it right. This is the worst shopping experience I've had. Don't waste your money on these shoes.

I ordered a pair of boots about a month ago and sent them back pretty quickly. UPS scanned the return package but it's disappeared and hasn't been seen since. Frye won't issue a refund or find any other solution. My money has been sitting in limbo for weeks now with no help from them.

They claim their products can't be returned and charge prices that don't match the actual quality of what they're selling. Total scam.

This deserves negative stars if possible. They charge shipping for items that look nothing like the pictures on their website. Then they charge you again just to send the stuff back. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. I tried canceling before my order shipped and they claimed it had already gone out, but I checked and verified it hadn't even started shipping yet. That's not right.

What a mess. I ordered boots for my daughter's Christmas gift, got my confirmation and payment processed, then got canceled right before the holiday with no explanation. They said the boots were back in stock so I ordered again, but they sent the wrong size. I returned those and placed yet another order for the correct size, and again wrong size showed up. On top of everything, the boots looked used and came in a damaged box. I've been loyal to Frye for years, but this is ridiculous. Their customer service team was actually helpful, but I can't deal with this level of problems. There are companies out there that handle things better.

Watch what happens at checkout very carefully! I selected a black size 5 boot that showed available and let me add it to my cart. When my order arrived, Frye sent me a completely different size and color. Customer service explained they automatically switch you to a larger size if your original choice is out of stock, but don't update their online inventory to show it. Now I'm stuck paying to ship it back. I shop online constantly and this has never happened at any other retailer. Most companies won't even let you select something out of stock in the first place. Before you buy, call them directly to confirm they have what you're actually ordering.

Don't bother with this company. I ordered boots for my birthday and tried reaching them multiple times to check on my delivery status. No one answered my emails. Fortunately PayPal stepped in and gave me a refund since Frye wasn't responding. When I finally did connect with someone, they told me they're just a third party distributor for this brand, so that didn't help.
