Los Angeles Apparel Reviews
Los Angeles Apparel receives consistently negative feedback from shoppers, with the majority reporting serious issues with customer service and product quality. Common complaints center on misleading return and exchange policies, with customers describing bait-and-switch tactics where staff initially promise exchanges but then deny them after items are returned. Product defects are another recurring theme, including quality issues like transparent swimwear sold without disclosure and non-functional items arriving in orders. A small segment of shoppers had positive experiences, particularly when staff went above and beyond to resolve order errors by allowing customers to keep incorrect shipments while sending correct orders with expedited shipping.
While a minority of reviewers (16 percent) gave five-star ratings, often tied to staff responsiveness in correcting mistakes, the overwhelming majority expressed frustration with the company's final sale policies and rigid customer service stance. Shoppers report feeling misled by product descriptions and frustrated when attempting to resolve legitimate defect issues. The stark contrast between the handful of positive experiences and the predominance of one-star reviews suggests that customer satisfaction at Los Angeles Apparel depends heavily on whether issues require policy enforcement or staff discretion to remedy.
They promised I could do an exchange, but after I shipped everything back they suddenly said exchanges aren't allowed.
It's alright but could use some improvement. The staff seems nice enough but the actual clothes need work
Bought a white swimsuit from here that turned out to be completely transparent, and there was zero mention of this in the product details. I complained and got back a copy-paste response about their final sale rule: 'This item is explicitly advertised and sold as final sale. Final sale items are not eligible for return and/or exchange.' If they'd been upfront about the final sale restriction AND that you could see right through it, I could've made a better decision. I didn't have all the facts. Never ordering from them again. Looking back, it all makes sense who's running this place.
Here's what I emailed to these people: I got my Casio Ani-Digi Watch in the mail. I need to send this back right away because it's broken and it looks like someone already used it. The A, B, and C buttons don't work the way the manual says they should. The time is stuck an hour ahead and I can't change it. I also can't get to the alarm settings because pressing the buttons doesn't switch modes like they're supposed to. Plus, this watch is clearly used. There's dirt or some kind of residue on the inside of the band - someone else definitely wore this thing, realized it doesn't work, and sent it back. And then they sold it to me anyway. Really upsetting. I've got photos and a video proving all of this. I need a full refund immediately and a shipping label so I can send back this broken, secondhand watch.
Opened my package and found the wrong items inside. But the team was great about it - they let me keep everything and sent my correct order out with expedited shipping
Got my order but the box had the wrong items in it. The staff was cool about it though - they told me to keep what I got and shipped out my actual order using faster shipping
THIS IS A SCAM WEBSITE DO NOT ORDER HERE!!! IT'S COMPLETELY FRAUDULENT AND THEY WON'T ACTUALLY SEND ITEMS BUT WILL KEEP EMAILING YOU ASKING FOR YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
Writing my first review ever because I gotta give props to Axel from LAA customer service - this guy is based in Europe and his response time was honestly the fastest I've ever seen. Sent an email last night around midnight about the secret hoodie promotion and got a response the next day by lunchtime on a Saturday saying it was only available on the US site at that moment. I replied saying I still wanted the hoodies and didn't expect anything back, but within literally one minute I got another email saying they'd activate the sale code on the European site within the hour. I didn't think they'd move that fast. Felt pretty cool getting that treatment. These products are looking good and I'm stoked to see what arrives, might do another review once I get the gear.
Ordered a sweater that cost too much and fit all wrong. When it got here, it reeked and was covered in pilling. The size S fit like it was supposed to be for toddlers. I sent it back and waited for my refund, but they said I shipped them the wrong thing. I reached out to their support team and heard absolutely nothing back. The whole brand is overpriced with really poor quality stuff. Skip it.
I purchased a black bra without any washing instructions included. When I wore it with a white shirt, it bled dye all over the shirt. I reached out multiple different ways but got nothing but silence in response. Now I've got a bra I can't wear and a ruined white shirt. Total damage came to nearly 175 dollars plus all the time and frustration. Really let down. Seems like their approach is to just ignore every complaint and hope people go away.
Absolute disaster. My order never showed up. When I tried reaching out to LA Apparel, they basically said it wasn't their problem if the package got lost in transit. Then I contacted the shipping company, and they told me they'd already shut down the claim and said I needed to go back to LA Apparel. No other info was given. Still waiting to hear anything back from LA Apparel. It really bothers me that they chose to work with this terrible shipping carrier and then just wash their hands of the whole thing. Don't waste your money here. Honestly, you'd have better luck throwing your cash in the trash.
Finally got my order delivered! The stuff is really nice and fits great. Since it shipped from here in the US it took a little longer to arrive (around 12 days), but totally worth the wait.
I should have listened to the other reviews before ordering from Los Angeles Apparel. Bought a Casio watch and they shipped it, but then the delivery person marked it as delivered when I never got it. The company refused to do anything about it. The delivery slip says it was left at my front door and that I signed for it - both completely false. Yeah, maybe the driver was sketchy, but I've ordered from tons of other companies shipping to this same address and it's never happened. Plus if it had, those companies actually sent me replacements or refunds instead of just sending me tracking emails and ignoring my complaints.
Stay away from this place! I got a top and sweatpants shipped to me, but one leg of the sweatpants was more than 2 inches longer than the other. Their customer service was short and rude when I contacted them. I shipped the sweatpants back and got confirmation they received it and said my refund went back to my card. That refund never showed up. When I tried emailing again, LA Apparel just ghosted me. Then I did a chargeback with my credit card company, and LA Apparel responded with fake paperwork claiming they refunded both items via a gift card (they didn't). I've sent numerous emails since and they keep ignoring me. I even tried logging into my account on their website and got a message that it doesn't exist. Really sketchy operation. My partner has also ordered from them multiple times and every single order has had major stitching problems - shirts with wrong collars, hoodies with the wrong colored panels, pants covered in loose threads. And their customer service never helps.
Since I don't live near their physical location, ordering online is my only option. But I keep running into the same problem - something I want in my size and color shows as available so I buy it, then their warehouse team emails me saying it's actually out of stock and cancels the order for a refund. The thing is, the website still keeps showing that item available instead of marking it as sold out. Quality-wise most of their stuff seems decent, but I grabbed one item I really loved and after wearing it just once around the house, the seam under the zipper came apart. The zipper itself should have been longer anyway and the seam wasn't reinforced properly. I had to stitch it up myself. Also weird that the site never actually posts my reviews, even when they're positive comments.
