Right before the holidays I decided to contact B&W and got Matt on the phone. What an awesome guy! He immediately knew exactly what my issue was and spent a bunch of time walking me through the solution, which turned out to be a setting on my router that needed adjusting. That fixed everything. Thanks Matt, you're not being paid enough! B&W support has my recommendation.
Got the PI5 S2 earbuds as a Christmas present for my son. Unfortunately they're incompatible with Android 16 and newer versions. You need an older phone to do the update. We spent two hours attempting this and the update still wouldn't go through. The company should really mention that limitation somewhere. Even trying with an older phone didn't help in my situation. We ended up returning them to the store. Should've checked the reviews on here instead of reading tech journalists.
Got the panorama 3 soundbar specifically because of its room-filling dolby atmos capability advertised on their site. Can't get audio coming through the hdmi from my television. Tested the soundbar on three different TVs and tried new cables plus factory resets without any luck. You know what Bowers & Wilkins said? Go contact whoever you bought it from. This is unacceptable. I want this soundbar working but they won't offer any assistance.
I spent over $5000 on B&W Formation wireless speakers. When they're working properly they sound fantastic. The problem is they only work about half the time with consistent connection and app problems. The support is really disappointing. I couldn't find my original receipt so they wouldn't back their warranty, I paid $250 to have one of my $1200 speakers repaired at their contracted facility, and it came back in worse shape than when I sent it. Now my other speakers are giving me issues and support won't help. These have been nothing but a source of aggravation since I bought them five years back.
Masimo Consumer owns Bowers and Wilkins now. They acquire nice brands but deliver customer service that's worse than bargain basement products. They charge crazy prices like $800 for wireless headphones (PX8) when you can get way better value from actual quality companies. Think twice before spending your money here.
Had a terrible time getting my B&W px8 headphones fixed or replaced after they started falling apart almost immediately. Their support was really disappointing. I've bought around five pairs of B&W headphones over the years, but those days are done.
Absolutely terrible support team. They wouldn't cover my warranty claim on my Pi8 earphones which started having connection problems about three to four months after I bought them. They wanted me to pay over $100 just to repair or replace it, and took forever responding to my messages even though they promised to reply within a couple business days. The chat support people would end conversations abruptly whenever I asked for updates on my case, and this happened multiple times which clearly wasn't coincidence.
Purchased B and W headphones through an audio installer and after a year the charging stopped working. I made dozens of calls and sent multiple emails back and forth with customer support involving troubleshooting steps, serial numbers, hunting down paperwork, recording videos showing the charging failure, paying for return shipping, giving them my FedEx tracking information, waiting over two weeks for them to verify it, and then they sent my headphones to the wrong address. This is a terrible company that clearly doesn't stand behind what they sell and puts up unnecessary barriers whenever you try to return something defective. Don't waste your money here.
Got a Zeppelin pro speaker and the actual hardware is excellent, but the app is absolutely terrible. The app can't find the speaker half the time even though it's actively playing through WiFi, which prevents you from changing tracks. You have to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing. For a high end product this is inexcusable.
This company has been the absolute worst to work with on delivery, and if they allow feedback I'll provide a full support experience review. The units themselves are solid, but going direct to them is a mistake. Use a third party retailer that backs up their delivery or gives you your money back. I'm still waiting on my $800 headphones. Every single day I'm told it's out for delivery with FedEx heading my direction, but the company can't fix the shipping address they messed up on their end. I missed giving a birthday gift and ended up buying something else that day. This is embarrassing customer service for such a well-known brand. Order directly from them at your own risk. If they send me a dismissive response, I can share screenshots of everything I've dealt with.
