What Shoppers Say About Sally Hansen
Sally Hansen products receive overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers on RetailCoupons.com, with the store rated 1.5 out of 5 by 20 reviewers. Recurring complaints center on poor product quality and performance: nail polishes are described as thin, watery, and uneven in coverage; some products allegedly cause staining or damage to nails; and specialty items like growth treatments fail to deliver promised results. Shoppers also report durability issues, with products peeling or requiring frequent reapplication. Beyond product quality, customers have experienced billing problems and unresponsive customer service that fails to resolve issues adequately.
While a small portion of reviewers give the brand higher ratings, the vast majority express strong dissatisfaction and state they will not make future purchases. Shoppers consistently note that competing products at lower price points offer superior performance, leading them to question the value proposition of Sally Hansen's offerings. The combination of product failures, customer service gaps, and billing complications has created a pattern of buyer frustration across multiple reviews.

Sorted by: Most recentTotal rubbish. I've used nail polish that costs way less and performs so much better. Don't bother with this stuff.
My wife spent over two hundred dollars at their store and paid with cash. The cashier told her that opening an account would get her twenty dollars off, so she did. A month later a bill came for that twenty dollars plus ten in interest. She thought it was already covered and ended up paying twice. When she called to explain, turns out there's no record of the original cash purchase since she didn't use a card. Now we're getting billed for items she already paid for. Our advice is to never use cash here and always pay with a credit card instead.
Got their Make it Snappy polish that claimed one coat coverage. The quality was really lacking though. It ran when I applied it and didn't cover my nails evenly at all. Definitely not worth what I paid for it.
I bought a bottle of Color Therapy and when I went to remove the polish it left a horrible orange stain on my nails. I'm really upset because this stain won't come off and their customer service basically said they'd just refund me, which doesn't solve my actual problem. I won't be buying anything from them again.
The Sally Hansen shade I got is thin and watery with really poor quality. The coverage is disappointing too.
Spent good money on their Miracle Cure and it did absolutely nothing for my nails. The stuff just peels right off if I shower and I end up having to reapply it every single day. It barely lasts even 12 hours on my nails. Been using it for over two months now with zero improvement and still haven't gotten a response from their customer service.
If I could give zero stars I would. Their face masks contain toxic ingredients that instantly burned my skin. I'm taking legal action against them.
I'm honestly not satisfied with their gel polish line. Even when I used the top coat, chips started showing up the very next day. I've found other brands that cost way less but actually hold up much better in comparison.
Tried their Miracle Cure strengthening formula and even with two coats my nails still snapped from minor things. They broke way faster than they should have. I want a refund for this.
I'll give two stars because the Hard as Nails and Diamond Strength formulas stuck around fine. The problem is they didn't actually do anything. My nails are naturally thin and soft and break super easily, but neither of these products made any difference since January. My nails even started flaking more. Just a waste of money overall. You'd be better off taking biotin supplements and keeping your nails moisturized instead.
