What Shoppers Say About Emma Sleep US
Emma Sleep US is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 25 shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews expressing serious dissatisfaction. The primary complaints center on product durability issues (mattresses collapsing within weeks, duvets and covers tearing prematurely), defective items arriving (wrong sizes, pre-existing damage), and severely inadequate customer service. Shoppers report extensive delays in warranty claims and returns, unresponsive support channels, and difficulty obtaining refunds or replacements despite the company's advertised protection plans and return windows. A small fraction of reviews are positive, though the detail provided does not specify what those customers praised.
The overwhelming pattern across negative reviews suggests systemic problems with both product quality and post-purchase support. Customers describe warranty teams as uncooperative, slow response times across email and phone, chat systems that do not function, and expectations that customers handle disposal of damaged goods themselves. Several shoppers stated they cannot recommend Emma Sleep US based on their experiences. The company's stated policies around return windows and protection plans appear inconsistent with what customers actually receive in practice.

Sorted by: Most recentI bought an Emma mattress for my bedroom. After just 30 nights of sleeping on it, the bed completely fell apart in the center. The company talks big about their ten-year warranty, but good luck actually using it. I spent fourteen days going back and forth with their warranty team. Every time I sent photos that clearly showed the damage, they'd ask for a different angle or more pictures. I got tired of fighting and gave up. I'm hoping the Better Business Bureau can step in and help because I feel like I threw away a lot of money on this.
I got a duvet from Emma that arrived with multiple rips already in it. Going through the exchange was annoying but I managed to get it done. Fast forward a year and the replacement duvet cover is ripping apart all over again. Since it should be covered under their two-year protection plan, I reached out asking for a replacement. That's when they told me they never actually got the first duvet back that I'd shipped, so they won't honor the warranty. Don't shop here unless you enjoy getting low-quality products and dealing with unhelpful support staff.
The hiring process here is really bad. I'd suggest not even bothering to apply. The people doing interviews ask questions like you're applying for a top executive role and get annoyed super fast.
Just a heads up that you might get the wrong size shipped to you. We ordered a king but got a smaller size even though our order was for a significant amount. We ordered dimensions of 84 by 72 inches but received 84 by 48 inches instead. Make sure you double-check what you're ordering from them.
I got a mattress that arrived damaged and more than a month later I still don't have a real fix. Their support team moves slowly, doesn't seem to care much, and even expects customers to figure out how to get rid of broken products themselves. This is totally unacceptable and I can't recommend them. They need to get their quality and their after-sales experience together before anyone should shop there.
The company promises a year-long return window, but I'm starting to wonder if this place is actually legitimate. I submitted a return request in early May and got an automated confirmation, but I haven't heard anything else since then. Their chat doesn't seem to work, I can't get through by phone, and my follow-up emails got ignored. Since I'm relocating and don't want to haul this heavy mattress with me, this is turning into a real headache.
I made a purchase in late April and my mattress never showed up at my door. The tracking information said it went back to the warehouse. Nobody from the shipping company reached out, and the company hasn't taken any accountability. After spending weeks trying to fix this through their chat system and email, all I get are scripted responses about someone getting back to me eventually. Still no refund, no replacement, just excuses. They keep telling me to call the shipping company, but I paid them, not the shipping company. They're responsible for making sure I get what I paid for or my money back. I've moved up the chain and if I don't see this fixed within two days, I'm filing complaints with consumer protection authorities. This whole ordeal has been stressful and unacceptable. I'd tell others to really think twice before giving them money.
We bought a bed from them a few days ago and there's been zero updates on the order. They advertise delivery in 2-5 days, but I've tried reaching out multiple times via phone, email, and live chat with no luck getting anyone to respond. I really want to cancel this order and get my money back because this feels like a total scam. I'm planning to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Great product and really good value. This is my second mattress from Emma and I'm really happy with them.
