What Shoppers Say About PEScience
PEScience shoppers are divided on the brand. Those who rate products highly praise the actual quality and taste of items like the stimulant-free alphamine pre-workout and cake pop protein flavor, noting they blend smoothly and mix well into various applications. However, a significant portion of reviewers report serious operational issues that overshadow product quality: shipping delays exceeding a week, billing problems including duplicate charges that customer service allegedly refuses to resolve, website checkout errors that result in packages arriving at wrong addresses, and flavor inconsistencies (such as the coffee-flavored powder tasting like vanilla). Some also note texture issues with vegan protein options.
The recurring theme among lower-rated reviews is that while the products themselves may be acceptable, the company's customer service, order processing, and shipping infrastructure create frustration that drives shoppers away. Multiple reviewers mention they will not order again despite acknowledging the product quality, suggesting that operational failures are the primary barrier to customer satisfaction.

Sorted by: Most recentThe protein powder itself is solid, but man their shipping really needs work. I've placed two orders with them and both times it took over a week to arrive. I'm currently waiting on my third shipment now.
I was really looking forward to getting the coffee flavored protein powder as a holiday gift. If you actually enjoy the taste of coffee, skip this product because it honestly tastes nothing like coffee at all. It's basically just a vanilla shake. I was so pumped to try it out but honestly let down when I finally used it. Plus the powder settles and gets all thick and paste-like at the bottom of your cup. When I reached out to customer service about it, they wouldn't budge on a refund or even store credit despite being a regular customer and referring my friends. The company just doesn't work with you. I'd definitely steer clear if you're thinking about buying this for holiday gifts because they stick to that 30 day policy no matter what, and tons of other companies will actually work with you during the holidays. Not worth it.
Got charged twice on my card and their team won't fix it. They keep insisting it's probably just a temporary hold, but nope, both charges went through and are showing up on my statement. They won't help even though I gave them proof. They sent me screenshots from their end showing only one charge but my bank account clearly shows two, so I'm stuck in limbo. The protein itself tastes great, but I'm done ordering because they won't own up to their mistakes. I've got to file a dispute with my bank, which takes 15 days to start and probably another half hour on hold, all because this company refuses to take responsibility. I sent them pictures of my statement and they still won't acknowledge it. Look, I understand glitches happen and tech isn't perfect. But just admit it went wrong and make it right.
The actual product itself is fine. But using their website to place an order is absolutely terrible. I'm never ordering from them again. No matter what I do, my package always ends up at the wrong place even though I triple check my address before hitting submit. Something is seriously broken with how they process orders.
I regularly buy the stimulant free alphamine as my pre-workout since I avoid caffeine. Their baking powder is basically neutral in taste and works wonderfully mixed into any baked goods. I grabbed the vanilla sweet cream coffee powder and it actually pairs really nicely when you combine it with a couple shots of espresso, water, and ice then give it a good shake. Since I don't drink milk, mixing the milk protein with just water works out pretty well for me. Every time I order I get random sample packets of other stuff they make, which is awesome if you want to test out more from their lineup without committing. Fair warning though, if you're not using milk I'd skip their other protein flavors because mixing with water alone doesn't taste very good.
I've had some really solid proteins from this brand. The cake pop flavor is my go-to and blends really smooth whether I'm mixing it into almond milk or stirring it into my oatmeal. My one gripe is that the vegan options could use some work because they come out a bit gritty and don't have the smoothest texture.
I figured I'd check out a new supplement company since they had solid ratings online. Unfortunately my order never showed up. When I contacted them about the missing shipment, they basically said it wasn't their problem and refused to help. Not going back to them. I'll just stick with local shops instead.
