What Shoppers Say About myFICO
myFICO is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 4 shoppers, with all reviews giving the service one star. Shoppers consistently criticize the $21 fee to view a single FICO score, which reviewers describe as excessive. Customer support limitations are a major complaint, with the service offering phone calls only and no web chat or email options, which reviewers view as outdated for 2025.
Recurring issues include difficulty canceling accounts and obtaining refunds, with some shoppers describing the business model as a cash grab focused on extracting money from customers. One reviewer reported a frustrating experience trying to delete personal information, citing repeated rejections and contradictory information from representatives about account status. Reviewers suggest free alternatives like Experian as preferable options.

Sorted by: Most recentThey want to charge you $21 just to see a single fico score? That's highway robbery if you ask me.
It's 2025 and they're still stuck in the past requiring phone calls to handle anything. There's zero option for web chat or email support. I asked directly and their response was crystal clear: "Sorry, phone calls only." Pretty frustrating when you just want to resolve something online like most companies offer these days.
Steer clear of signing up with this outfit. They're focused on squeezing money out of you and make canceling a nightmare. Good luck getting any kind of refund because it's not happening. The whole operation feels like a cash grab to me. Your better option is to go with the complimentary offerings from Experian instead. Not worth your time or money.
I've been trying to get my information deleted but keep running into brick walls. Every request I submit gets shut down through their trust center claiming my account is still active. I've spent hours on calls with different representatives and even got a supervisor involved who keeps telling me the account is already canceled. Yet I can still log in just fine. I keep trying to delete my data and all I get back are automated emails saying the request got rejected because supposedly the account isn't actually canceled. It's an endless loop. Under Civil Code section 1798.105(d) I have the right to deletion, plain and simple. I've tried everything you can think of: multiple browsers, private browsing mode, clearing all my cache and cookies, and talking to multiple staff members and supervisors multiple times. Nothing works. They keep denying my deletion request even though they know full well it's my legal right. Honestly, this company seems to block people from canceling subscriptions, closing accounts, or deleting their data on purpose to break the law. I'd tell anyone to run away from this place before they get caught in the same trap.
