Loeffler Randall Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Loeffler Randall
Loeffler Randall receives uniformly negative feedback from shoppers, with all 9 reviews rating the store at one star. The primary complaints center on severe customer service failures, including unresponsive email support, refusals to assist with returns or repairs, and inflexible return policies. Shoppers report that sizing information is inaccurate (shoes run considerably smaller than stated), products show poor durability (leather flats falling apart after a few months of normal wear), and return processes are expensive and slow, with some customers reporting high international shipping fees, extended refund delays exceeding two weeks, and additional charges for return postage.
Shoepers acknowledge that Loeffler Randall shoes have an appealing aesthetic, but this advantage is overwhelmed by quality and service concerns. The combination of inadequate durability for the price point, misleading sizing guidance, unresponsive customer service, and restrictive return policies (including final sale items with no recourse) has led reviewers to characterize the brand negatively and recommend against purchasing from them.

Sorted by: Most recentThis company feels like a scam. I ordered boots following their sizing recommendations and they're completely unwearable. The shoes run way smaller than true to size and I got an entire size too small. When I tried reaching out to customer service about a return or exchange, they straight up ignored my emails. I wish I had read the negative feedback before placing my order.
The shoes look nice but don't hold up. I bought two pairs of leather flats and both fell apart completely after only wearing them maybe once a week to work for about two or three months. I contacted Loeffler Randall to ask about ways to care for them better or repair them, but they refused to offer any assistance. For how expensive these shoes are, they're definitely not worth the investment.
Don't buy from this brand. Their sizing information is wildly inaccurate. If you're ordering from overseas, you'll get hit with crazy high shipping fees, plus additional charges for return postage and insurance. I ended up spending an extra $150 just trying to ship things back. It's been over two weeks and my refund still hasn't shown up. This company seems unprofessional and possibly dishonest. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company over this purchase. Skip this brand entirely.
I'm really disappointed in Loeffler Randall's approach to customer service. I bought shoes as a Christmas present for my mom, and they didn't fit, so I requested an exchange within their timeframe. Since my mom and I live in different cities, she couldn't try on the replacement pair until her next visit to town. Unfortunately that size didn't work either, but they refused to let me return them, exchange again, or even get store credit. I tried explaining how their restrictive return window made it nearly impossible for us to manage the timing, but they wouldn't hear it. Now I'm stuck with an unused pair of shoes that don't work for either of us. I genuinely love their products and have bought at least ten pairs over the years including sandals, heels, and boots. But their rude and dismissive customer service reps showed zero understanding toward someone who's been a loyal customer. I won't be ordering from them again. The way they handled this was incredibly arrogant and out of touch. They basically proved how entitled this company really is.
I wish I'd researched this company before ordering. I bought a final sale item straight from their website and was really careful about the purchase since I knew there were no returns. I followed their suggestion to size up, and even ordered the same shoes from another retailer with a return policy just to verify the size would work. Once I was confident, I placed my order. But when they arrived, they were a full size to a size and a half smaller than the identical pair from the other company. When I contacted them about the huge discrepancy, they showed no sympathy and just pointed to their terms and conditions. Given how different the sizing was and how bad their guidance was, I thought they'd at least let me exchange them at my own expense. They wouldn't even do that. I assumed a premium brand would actually stand behind their products, but I was completely wrong. I won't be shopping there again.
Got my granddaughter a pair of shoes for Christmas that didn't fit right. I reached out to Loeffler Randall on December 28th asking for a return label, but got back an automated message saying they were closed for a winter break until January 8th. Once they finally got back to me, they basically said tough luck since it was past their 14-day window. I tried explaining it was a holiday gift and their short return period made it nearly impossible to buy and receive shoes in time for Christmas, but they wouldn't budge. Every other retailer I shopped at offered extended holiday returns. After multiple attempts to reason with them, they kept refusing any kind of exchange or refund. To make matters worse, the shoes arrived damaged with a completely crushed box. Getting them to process a replacement was such a hassle. I'm done with this brand. Their whole team seems focused only on closing sales with zero regard for actual customer care. They were dismissive and frankly rude the entire time. It's unfortunate because I'd have loved to reach out to the owners about how their business operates. My purchase cost $350 and I regret every penny.
Paid $395 for Blakley Boots last fall and the zipper completely gave out after just one season of normal wear. When I contacted them about getting help with a repair or replacement, they basically said there was nothing they could do. For shoes at that price point, I'd expect a company to at least offer some kind of solution or goodwill gesture. That kind of care for customers usually builds loyalty and repeat business. Instead, they've lost me as a longtime customer because I can't trust their brand anymore.
Be careful with this brand! Don't get tricked by those rock bottom sale prices on final sale items because usually that's a red flag that something's wrong with the product. I ordered a pair of Paige loafers in a size 9 and a half, which is my regular size with this brand. These shoes were way too short by a whole size. There's no sizing chart or measurement guide anywhere on their site, and they don't even mention if shoes run small or large. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. When I complained about the sizing being completely off, they just hid behind the final sale policy and refused any returns, refunds, or credits. Their only suggestion was that I pay extra to have a cobbler stretch them. Loeffler Randall really needs to be upfront about whether their shoes run small or large and post actual measurements like other legitimate retailers do. Stop using the final sale label to cover up product problems. It's deceptive.
Steer clear of this company. Their business practices are shocking. I ordered shoes and a bag that turned out to be the wrong color for my dress. I had to pay shipping costs to send everything back, which was expensive. According to their website terms, my refund should have come through in 5 days, but it took 10 days to process. When I complained, they just changed the timeframe on their website instead of owning up to the delay. The refund also had $100 deducted for what they called duties, which made no sense and lacked any real explanation. After I questioned this, they threatened to ban me from shopping with them. As if I would ever want to do business with them again! This company has absolutely no integrity. I've already contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges.
