What Shoppers Say About Incase
Incase is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 16 shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews expressing serious dissatisfaction. The primary complaints center on inventory management and fulfillment issues: customers report long delays (weeks to months), items remaining out of stock despite confirmed orders, and poor communication from the company. Several reviewers describe purchasing Incase products through Apple, experiencing defects, and then encountering obstacles when attempting warranty claims or replacements, including refusals to ship outside the US and inventory shortages that prevent resolution.
A small subset of shoppers rate Incase positively, though even these reviews acknowledge problems. Some praise the company's willingness to acknowledge product defects or offer compensation (discounts or refunds), and a few note that customer service representatives maintain a courteous tone despite the underlying issues. However, these limited positives are far outweighed by complaints about the company's inability or unwillingness to actually deliver products in a timely manner or fulfill warranty obligations, leaving most customers frustrated and regretting their purchases.

Sorted by: Most recentAwful from start to finish. I bought a hardshell case from Apple with my new MacBook and found out it was warping my screen. Apple pushed me toward Incase, who at least admitted this wasn't normal and offered to send a replacement. Problem was it was out of stock. After waiting around for what felt like forever, I started thinking this might be a bigger problem than just one bad case, so I asked if I could get a coupon for the value instead since I didn't want the case anymore. Spent the coupon on a different bag. Then I waited and waited with no shipping update or anything. Asked several times and got told it was a shipping delay, but they never actually fixed it. Almost five months have gone by and they haven't done anything to resolve it. Won't give me a refund either. Feels like I got played. I really thought I could trust Incase, especially since Apple was selling their stuff. Plus that case has been perpetually out of stock this whole time, which makes me think they know there's a real problem with these cases bending the new Air models and they're just hoping everyone forgets about it.
Placed an order for a Macbook case on 12/25/25 with three-day shipping. Heard nothing from Incase until I chased them down three weeks later asking what was going on. Turns out the case was sold out and they said it'd be 2 to 8 weeks before restocking. As an apology for the hold-up, they offered either 20% off this order or a refund plus 20% off my next order. I said yes to the refund and discount. My email got ignored. Ten days pass, I see the item's back in stock, and send another message. Now they're telling me the order's being prepared and will ship soon, with a 20% refund coming after delivery. Case shows up on 2/9/26 but the refund never went through. On top of that, even though I ordered straight from their site to avoid Amazon, the package came from Amazon anyway. I'm really let down by how this whole thing was handled from the moment I bought it to getting it. I used to order from them regularly, but that's done for good.
Got an Incase Edge Hardshell Case for my MacBook Pro 16 through Apple, and it cracked after a while. Apple told me to contact Incase about the warranty. In October, Incase support confirmed everything was covered and sent me a coupon code. Sounds great until you hit the reality. The item was out of stock for weeks. When stock came back, I tried placing an order and their system wouldn't let me complete it because checkout only works for US addresses, even though I'm in Germany and they gave me a regional warranty coupon for EMEA. I emailed support again asking for help, and they promised a fix in ten days. Never happened. The product disappeared from stock again. Now it's late January and the item is available again, but I still can't buy it because international shipping isn't turned on. I've been waiting over three months, contacted them multiple times, and gotten nowhere. The coupon means nothing if I can't actually use it. Feels like I'm being strung along on purpose. I'm going back to Apple to handle this and letting other people know that if you're outside America and need warranty help from Incase, you should think hard about it. Their system just doesn't work for people outside the US.
Got an Incase product through Apple that arrived defective. Apple's solution was for me to go directly to Incase for the warranty. Incase flat out refuses to send a replacement or refund. Their reasoning is they don't ship outside the US. This is completely unacceptable. Their stuff gets sold throughout Europe but when there's a problem they claim they're not responsible. Here's my take: terrible products paired with zero service. Stay away from this company, or at minimum reconsider. The reviews here show exactly what I mean. Not a single positive five-star review and they barely engage with complaints for a year or more. That pretty much sums it up. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Heard that Incase took over manufacturing the 600 Microsoft keyboard. Placed an order back on July 24 and they've been stringing me along for weeks with excuses about shipping system problems and backup procedures. They claim they're working through orders in the order they got them or something like that. Their replies have been decent enough tone-wise, but I asked for a refund and I'm just sitting here waiting to hear back on that.
Ordered a backpack on 24/08/2025 and never got it by 14/8/2025. I kept asking where it was and just kept hearing there was a delay and that if I cancelled and ordered again, I could get 20% off but would go to the back of the waiting list. Made one more call today asking about it and they just cancelled my whole order without even asking me first. So now I'm supposedly back at the end of the line anyway. I was a regular buyer but not anymore. Just avoid them.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Really wish I'd looked at reviews before buying this. Seriously, don't order anything from this company. They took my money and I never got anything. Total silence, no replies to any of my messages.
Rough experience with their support team. My product showed up broken, and they wouldn't swap it out or give my money back. Their return policy is awful and they keep rejecting claims. Couldn't get anyone to answer my emails. I'd skip this company. Update: Took a while, but support actually reached out and got everything fixed for me.
They charged me but I never got the case and there's been zero communication about where my order is or when it'll ship. I ordered back on April 17 and haven't heard anything since. Their social accounts look abandoned and emails bounce back. The support address doesn't even work. Can someone please get back to me about what's happening with my order?
Pretty nice looking so far. Got a textured hardshell for my MacBook Pro 16, and it fits perfectly. Even though it's clearly plastic, it has this linen-like texture on the surface that gives it a nice grip. I've seen what other people said about these cases, but mine has been holding up great and I'm really happy with how it looks.
