But I've been stuck trying to figure this out, even with technical help from someone who knows their way around computers. Now I'm stuck redoing an entire collection that took forever to organize because I can't access my old account to transfer anything. I checked today hoping maybe I could finally get a real answer from support or at least try their AI chat. Nothing. No help at all. I'm switching to a different service that actually makes things simple and user-friendly. I regret wasting time on this when there are much better options available.
The interface is basically unusable and feels like something from the early days of computing. The controls are scattered everywhere and nothing is intuitive. You never really know what context you're in, whether you're looking at a folder or a section, and the definitions aren't even clear. Photo management shouldn't be this confusing but they've somehow made it cryptic and overwhelming. There are also a bunch of default lists and categories loaded in that you can't fully control. Why can't I remove preset categories like family or family travel from my business account? This looks like an incomplete product, not something that's supposedly been refined over ten years.
This could have been an excellent application, but the support is basically nonexistent. When I had an issue, the contact form on their website didn't work, so I tried emailing instead. Someone responded once but when their suggestions didn't help, they told me to submit through the app instead. I did that and got an automated message saying they usually respond within 24 to 48 hours. I'm a week in and haven't heard anything back. My follow-up attempts went completely unanswered. This is my second attempt with the product and I'm done. Customer service this poor is a dealbreaker for me.
Wanted a photo management solution so I signed up for a year, but I'm not renewing. The main problem is that when you export photos from Google to bring them into this service, you lose important metadata like location and camera details. Those get saved in a separate JSON file that this app won't read, so your photo information just disappears. On top of that, there's no real standard for transferring face tags, so all my hundreds of identified faces in Google would need to be redone from scratch. I'm disappointed because I had high hopes for consolidating everything in one place.

All my internal drives plus every external drive got a folder created and data was being duplicated everywhere. I spent hours trying to figure out how to fix it through their help docs before I just uninstalled and removed every folder the app had created. I recovered about 14 terabytes across my drives since it was even backing up my backups. The concept is solid and the tech works well, but the setup requires extreme care or you'll have storage problems. If you decide to use it, triple check your drive configuration first.
