Ordered several things during a holiday promotion and included was a Confidence in Your BEAUTY SLEEP serum. The bottle had clearly leaked during shipping, spilling all over the box. The vitamin C inside had oxidized, turning orange, and smelled awful. Rather than blast them online, I contacted them directly to let them know this product arrived damaged. Still haven't heard back. I used IT's CC cream years ago before they got bought by L'Oreal and their customer service was fantastic back then. That's completely gone now. They just take your order and nothing else. The satisfaction promise doesn't mean anything. I'm done buying from this company.

Got their bye bye pores powder and when I opened it for the first time, the insert wasn't sitting right inside. It popped right out and spilled all over me and my floor. Customer service has been terrible about it and they're refusing to send me a replacement even though it's obviously a defect. They just don't seem to care. Stay away from this brand. I won't be buying from them anymore.

Just ordered online and what I got sent wasn't the right product. I double-checked against my order confirmation to make sure I was reading it right. Within minutes of getting the confirmation, I contacted IT Cosmetics to fix the mistake before they shipped it out. They told me their policy says no changes or swaps once an order is locked in. Their solution was for me to get the package, pay to send it back myself, and then reorder the correct item. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. They made the error, not me, and somehow I'm supposed to cover the return costs. I took screenshots showing their mistake during checkout. Asked to speak to a manager and was told maybe someone would call back in about 48 hours. I hung up and called my bank to stop the charge instead. This company clearly doesn't care about treating customers right.

Bought a gift card for my daughter on December 15th for Christmas and had no option to pick a delivery date. Called right away and was told the timing depended on how busy they were due to the holidays and it would come through the mail. After 45 minutes on the phone explaining my frustration, they suggested she could use my order number to just place a regular order instead. It's been a month and she still hasn't gotten anything. I spent 20 minutes on the phone today and they said they'd look into it and call back sometime this week. I said that wasn't good enough and asked for a manager. Apparently there is no manager and I should expect a call in 48 hours. I actually like their skincare but I'm buying it from Amazon or Ulta from now on. That doesn't solve my daughter's gift card though.

Every single time I order a lighter shade, it comes in way off. The color ends up being darker or has this orange tint that makes no sense. IT Cosmetics clearly has no idea how to match shades properly. I got their full coverage fair light foundation and it's insanely orange. It's frustrating because I keep giving them chances but the color is always too dark and too orange. What's written on the outside of the tube doesn't match what's inside. The formula feels nice enough but their color matching is a complete mess.

I don't usually leave negative feedback, and truthfully I've been happy with IT Cosmetics for years. But my latest experience changed everything. I bought straight from their website and got my stuff quickly. The new Confidence in your Beauty Sleep Serum caused a bad reaction though. My face and neck started burning and stinging, then a rash showed up that took several days to go away. I've called customer service repeatedly the last couple of days, but they keep shuffling me between different people who want to dig into my skin reaction. I just told them I don't care about understanding the reaction, I want to return it and get my money back. The whole thing has been incredibly frustrating. Still waiting on a callback, and I haven't gotten any details about returning it. It's Friday now with just 15 minutes until their office shuts down for the day, and I'm betting they're going to drag this out until 30 days have passed so they can claim I'm past the deadline.

This was my second time getting their foundation. I took my almost-finished container to Sephora to figure out the right shade since the label had worn off. Then I ordered that shade from IT. It wasn't right because it came in too light. Called IT on October 9th to ask what the next darker shade would be from what I'd bought back in August. The rep told me the next one up was neutral and didn't offer an exchange because it was past their 30-day window. I mentioned that I'd been dealing with health stuff and when I got better I wanted to wear makeup every day again, so I was still working through my first bottle. My recovery took longer than 30 days. I'd only used 2 pumps. The rep should have worked with me on an exchange, plus that neutral shade seems impossible to actually find anywhere. I'm guessing you can only get certain shades if you buy directly from IT since they have around 30 options. Their value to customers just isn't there.

Been buying their CC full coverage cream for a long time now. Unfortunately, I accidentally got some on my white dress pants right before heading to church. Tried everything to get it out - dish soap, bleach, soaking it overnight, then running it through the wash. Nothing worked and the stain is still there. If anybody knows how to remove this stuff, please let me know!

Got an email saying all skincare was marked down 30%. Made an order and realized right away I didn't get the discount applied. Hit them up immediately and they told me the discount only kicks in if you're logged in. I asked if I could cancel or change my order since I'd placed it just 10 minutes before, but they said that's not possible. Requested to speak with a manager about options like a partial refund for 30% and was promised someone would get back to me. Never heard from them. Not shopping there again.

Grabbed the CC cream thinking it would be as amazing as all the reviews claim, but it caused painful spots all over my face. I've never had breakouts before. I complained through their chat and they told me to call a US number to keep discussing it. I said no thanks since I'm outside the country and didn't want to make that call, so the chat just ended. Tried opening another chat and they said they'd email me. They never did.
