Ordered shoes for store delivery and called a week later to check on them. Customer service told me I got an email saying those shoes aren't in stock anymore and I'd get a refund in 4 to 8 weeks. That's it. I'm never buying from Famous Footwear again. Just terrible service overall.

The website said the shoes I wanted would be available, but a couple days later I got an email saying the order would be cancelled due to stock issues. Called to get my refund and was told it would take 2 to 10 business days. After waiting 10 days I called back and now they're saying it's in the mail so add another 2 weeks on top of that. Over a month for a refund is unacceptable. This company is awful with the worst customer service ever. They don't actually care about how customers are treated. First and last time I'm ordering here, stay away.

Placed my first order for three pairs of shoes but one pair somehow never shipped. The phone rep was really great though and instantly processed my refund. Even better, he matched the discounted price so I could reorder those shoes. Everything arrived and the shoes were fantastic quality at an awesome deal. Really impressed!

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with Famous Footwear and I'm done as a customer! Ordered sneakers for my little one and they showed up damaged, so I had to go in person to return them. They gave me a 20% discount coupon as an apology. I placed another order with that coupon plus my rewards points, but then the whole thing got cancelled for no explanation! When I tried to order again, the coupon wouldn't work and my rewards disappeared. Called customer service twice and even though the rep gave me a new coupon, she told me she couldn't restore my rewards points, which was maddening!!! The customer service is absolutely terrible, and I'm still waiting on my refund from the second order! Just skip Famous Footwear!

Had to return a pair of shoes I'd bought online. The shoes were basically unworn, I was definitely within the return window, and I even brought my receipt. So why did the store staff require my Driver's License? Plus the employee was unfriendly. I get what other reviewers are saying. I'm willing to spend a bit more at a place that has better staff.

Came in looking for shoes for my grandson who's five. Depending on the shoe, he wears an 11, 12, or 13. There were barely any options in his size. Asked a staff member and they just pointed me to a couple sections that might work. Thought it was disappointing that so close to school starting there wasn't much to choose from. They had a buy one get one sale but it was limited to certain styles. Staff didn't suggest any workarounds. The seating is positioned in the center so if you're shopping on the walls there's nowhere to rest, and my grandson ended up sitting on a really dirty floor. Won't be returning for his shoes. Amazon is a better option for me.

Plus the seating area is in the middle of the store so when you're looking at shoes on the outer wall, there's nowhere to sit, and my grandson ended up sitting on a filthy floor. I won't be coming back to get his shoes. This is why I shop on Amazon instead.

Their customer service doesn't just fall short, it's basically absent. There aren't enough people on staff to actually help customers. You can't even get someone to measure your feet. Where the men's shoes are isn't marked anywhere that I could find. I spent forever walking around that massive store until my old injury started acting up, left, and now I'm writing this review instead.

Got sent the wrong shoe size on my online purchase, which apparently happens all the time with this place. The two customer service reps I talked to weren't helpful at all, basically told me my only choice was a refund or trying to get an exchange that probably doesn't exist. Really inconvenient for me. Not shopping with them online or at their physical stores ever again.

I'm always happy when I shop at Famous Footwear at my local spot. Yesterday the associate who helped me was so friendly and professional. My running shoes were fitting way too big and I wasn't confident about the return policy. She went ahead and swapped them out for a different brand in the right size. I'm not just satisfied with the shoes but also really impressed with how nicely she treated me and how much she helped. You're doing great! This is why you keep getting my business. Appreciate it!

I shop regularly at the Famous Footwear location near me. The service I got from the staff member who helped me yesterday was fantastic. She was warm and knowledgeable. My running shoe ended up too roomy and I wasn't totally sure about returning it. But she took care of the exchange and got me fitted perfectly in a different brand.
