I bought a pair of Two-Tone Oursin earrings for one hundred seventy five dollars. I've barely used them and only wore them regularly for about a week during a recent trip. One earring completely fell apart in my hand while I was just putting it on. There was no dropping, no rough handling, nothing out of the ordinary. For the price point this brand charges, the durability is really unacceptable. These aren't even heavy duty earrings that I wear constantly, and they basically disintegrated. When I contacted customer service, they refused to help because the return period had closed. That's also disappointing. If there's a quality problem with a product, a return window shouldn't be an excuse. I expected much better craftsmanship and customer support from a brand at this level.

All they keep asking for is our information so they can process the return, but the person handling this clearly doesn't care and shows zero empathy or acknowledgment of any of our questions. It's incredibly disappointing for a company that claims to deliver excellent service.

My boyfriend gave me TOUS earrings featuring little black bears as a gift. Everything was fine initially, but after about six months, one of the bear details popped right off the main part of the earring. I barely ever wore them and always handled them carefully. We reached out to customer service about the two year warranty they offer, but they basically blamed me and said it would cost 17 dollars plus shipping for repairs, and I'd have to cover the shipping myself. How is it my fault that a bear fell off because it wasn't properly attached at the factory? I was really let down by this response and have since discovered how many other customers have similar complaints about TOUS. Do your research before buying from them and don't just chase after brands that are trendy.
