purchased an altenator 12/24 before…

purchased an altenator 12/24 before my purchase was assured that the part had a lifetime warrenty part went bad 3/25 was giev hard time about exchange as the part was purchased by a now shut down store but it was replaced this part went bad 12/25 whne took part back was told they wouldnt warrenty it as i was replaced once i had a limited life time warrenty and one replacement is my limit so they do not stand behind there products they sell or there so called warrenties this is now a 600.00 part i did not buy it to last a year and did not know i needed a lawyer to examine there warrenty at time of purchase the guy at counter and manager not very customer friendly i contacted advance customer service where i was told that the altenator was under warrenty but was up to that store to whether or not hey wanted to honor if and was suggested i go to a differnt advance auto and purchase a new altenator and then next day return my core as faulty for a full cash refund i had to laugh

Heartless, soulless dickheads

A post on their Facebook page stares that while on approved medical leave for cancer treatment, the manager of the Kaplan? LA store was terminated- twice. Lost his health insurance. If this is true, the people responsible should burn in he'll at the very least. I would never patronize any of their stores.

I purchased front break pads for my…

I purchased front break pads for my 2023 dodge durango rt hemi orange 5.7 liter hemi on 10/01/2025 & now today with a review as of two weeks ago I'm hearing a grinding sound. I shouldn't have to keep replacing these pads undef warranty in a month and a half. now gotta go back to a shop too spend unnecessary money. What is a limited lifetime warranty how can this company help me with the scrappy parts their selling.

Just bought a headlight restoration kit didn't pay attention to the box in store but was opened and 90 percent of the parts were gone girl took off shelf put it in bag i noticed it was light but didn't check it first i believe they are going out of business and they should awful

I'm done paying for poor customer service....

I had to give it a one when I wanted to give it a zero. I am writing to express my strong disappointment with a recent experience involving one of your representatives.I was originally intending to keep this communication civil, but the poor customer service I received, specifically from the representative who answered the phone, was unacceptable. As someone who brings frequent business to car shops, including yours, I am sick and tired of poor customer service and have now taken my business elsewhere.Great customer service should be a given, especially considering the competitive market. I believe this issue needs to be addressed immediately.

Ordered online forever for a rude refund

Ordered online. No shipment. No update. Finally after 40 days was able to have a refund processed for an additional 8 day wait. The online chat agent for their company was rude at the end as well. Awful service with shoddy parts and inaccurate inventory. Avoid shopping here.

They Make it Impossible to Use Battery Warranty

I bought a 4-year warranty on my car battery. We're two years in and I take the car in to be checked. The shop tells me the battery is only charging at 50% and to check with the warranty holder. They say they think it's going bad. I bought it in another state so I call the closest location to me now. First, they're like, well you'll need the receipt for me to look it up. (Which I have because I keep everything.) However, I find it hard to believe a national company which tracks all purchases can't look up a warranty? Seems fishy but fine. I explain the situation. The guy tells me I need to bring the battery in the store. I said, I don't know how to remove it, can they remove it if I bring the car in. He said, "No, they aren't a shop." I point out that they installed it and I offered to pay to have them remove the battery to be tested. He tells me they only do first time installations. I point out, I would need to go somewhere else, purchase an entirely new battery to then drive over to hand him the battery that is defective to be tested. "And it needs to be tested for four hours," he tells me. What is the point of purchasing a warranty on a battery when they make it impossible to actually use it? Worst customer service and that's saying something given the state of the car industry in general.
