Their warranty guarantee is basically meaningless. I got a 3 liter hydration pack as a Christmas gift in 2023 and absolutely loved using it for skiing. Recently it started leaking slowly at the connection between the tube and bladder, soaking the whole bag within an hour, which is rough for skiing in freezing temps. They claim a lifetime guarantee on their website, but plot twist: they don't actually offer one. Even though I showed them a video clearly showing the defect, their policy says no warranty without the original receipt since it was a gift. Either stand behind what you sell or don't. Turns out they don't.

Terrible customer service, hands down. I regret not checking the reviews here before spending hours on a warranty issue with a bite valve from a bottle cap, which surely costs them almost nothing to make. After using Camelbak bottles for years without problems, suddenly this valve that came with a bottle I bought earlier in the year breaks in half, and they blame me. I expected a quick warranty replacement and a new valve shipped to my door. Instead they basically told me it's my fault and I don't know how to use their product. I'm seriously thinking about making a training manual with diagrams for my family on proper Camelbak bottle drinking technique. Does Camelbak even have instructional videos on the correct way to drink from their bottles?

Shockingly bad support and service. The bottle had a manufacturing defect, and after pestering them for weeks they offered to send a replacement top. Then they tried shipping it and that failed too. It's been over a month now since I first reported it and still nothing.

Visited on Sunday and noticed a couple of small dogs roaming around inside. That seemed unsanitary to me.

Over the past decade I've grabbed three Camelbak bottles and repeatedly needed replacements for Eddy+ caps because of leaks and loose nozzles. The Got Your Bak lifetime program used to work smoothly, made my last claim in 2022 without issues. This month I tried the warranty three times with no response, so I contacted Camelbak directly and got a representative named Lucia who says there's no complaints division but she handles customer relations for our region. After tons of back and forth, Lucia kept insisting they won't replace the cap since I originally bought it through an online retailer. She told me to contact that retailer, and they came back saying the manufacturer is legally responsible for honoring the Got Your Bak warranty with lifetime coverage, though they offer two years themselves. I sent Lucia their response and pointed out that the warranty document nowhere says 'void if purchased from a retailer' and clearly states the company will back what they make with a lifetime guarantee.

Either this is a counterfeit or it's subpar because they're using 50 percent recycled PET plastic. It broke while I was washing it with hot water, even though their website clearly says the product is dishwasher safe. Sent multiple emails to the company and haven't received a single reply.

Can't get anyone to respond. The lid has no instructions for taking it apart to clean. The web address printed on it for cleaning info just takes you to a homepage. The website doesn't explain it either. I'm pretty sure this lid doesn't come apart and that's a dealbreaker for me. Plus Camelbak won't reply to emails or messages on social media.

Poor workmanship and even worse warranty support. I've gone through four 25 ounce stainless steel bottles, and three broke on day one after hand washing. Same problem every time, a hole opens up in the base which destroys the vacuum seal between the walls. That means mold and rust showing up almost immediately. The vacuum seal somehow keeps failing. Camelbak acknowledges the warranty applies and will send replacements, but doesn't mention they'll replace broken product with other broken product. Then again. Then again. I'm on replacement number who knows at this point. Getting a replacement takes at least two weeks and they refuse to refund or give you something that actually works. I've gotten maybe two days of actual use out of this bottle in a month, the rest has been emailing back and forth and waiting for shipments. I used to respect this brand, but when they keep sending me faulty items instead of actually fixing the issue, I don't see how that counts as a real warranty. They know about this problem and don't care. They just keep selling them hoping customers give up trying to get their money's worth. It's basically false advertising and I can't recommend them at all.

This brand and their products are terrible. Got a stainless steel tumbler about two weeks ago. Used it for coffee maybe twice and the material started behaving weirdly, turning see-through and wearing away, exposing another metal layer underneath and creating holes in the bottom. On top of that there's nasty rainbow staining that baking soda, vinegar, and washing won't touch. I took photos and asked for a refund or replacement almost three weeks ago but haven't heard back. Customer support? Warranty? Nope. This is becoming way too common with companies these days.

Really frustrated with this purchase. Ordered on the 23rd and as of over a week later, nothing has arrived. I've sent 3 separate emails asking about my delivery and haven't gotten a single response.

Finally retiring my CamelBak backpack after years of using it for trail running and backcountry hiking starting back around 2013. Honestly the most durable pack I've ever had. Put thousands of miles on that pack and it held up great.

Skip ordering their cups. They advertise a lifetime warranty but then won't actually exchange the product for a new one when it fails.

Awful experience with their support team, especially if you end up dealing with a certain representative. They don't understand their own product specs, and when your shipment vanishes they respond at a snail's pace and take forever processing a refund. The products themselves are fine, but buy from someone else because Camelbak as a direct seller is basically useless.

Don't buy from them. They won't stand behind their guarantees and warranties. And to make it worse, they won't even send you a message letting you know they're denying your claim on a replacement lid. Just skip this company.
