Really let down when they wouldn't allow my dogs in the store on leashes, even though they're well behaved. We've shopped here before and the dogs were always welcomed, with water bowls set out and everything. Waiting outside in over thirty degree heat wasn't fun for us or the dogs. We won't be coming back to Decathlon.

Tried renting a bike in Lyon for over three months, but as someone from outside France I couldn't get my foreign bank to clear their deposit requirements. My LCL account, which I keep for everyday purchases since French banks are hesitant about international ones, wasn't acceptable to them. Classic behavior from a French retailer. Their customer service approach speaks for itself.

Placed an order for an indoor stationary bike over a month ago and nothing has arrived. No updates, no communication from anyone. Called customer service multiple times and got nowhere. The worst part is that Decathlon's system shows the order as delivered when it clearly never got to me.

Been back to the Markville Shopping Mall store several times and always leave satisfied. The products are excellent and the staff make a real difference. ANUR deserves special recognition for knowing his stuff and taking the time to work with each customer individually. Thanks for the great experience.

The website advertises that dogs are welcome, but when I brought my small, well-behaved dog to the Perpignan location this morning, staff told me I had to leave the store.

The app is absolutely awful and I deleted it immediately. Won't be shopping with Decathlon again because of it.

Wow is all I can say. The FORCLAZ MT900 Tunnel tent is incredible. Although it says two person, it works perfectly as a one person shelter with gear. I did tons of research and this tent beats even the expensive models in its class. At under two kilograms, it's nearly flawless. Seriously impressed and can't recommend it highly enough.

Worst experience possible with Decathlon. Bought a folding bike that showed up damaged and unsafe to use. After calling their support line four separate times and sending half a dozen emails, I got zero callbacks and just got the same automated response every time. FedEx told me I had to work with the retailer to file a damage claim, but Decathlon completely ghosted me. Without their cooperation I can't even start the claims process. If you need to return something, stay away from this company. You're better off shopping somewhere that actually has customer support like Amazon.

The physical stores are good, but their website is a nightmare for Android users. It constantly crashes, runs slowly, and is really frustrating to use. They're probably losing tons of customers because of how poorly it performs. This needs to be fixed to be taken seriously.

I've been buying from Decathlon for many years across France, Germany, and Canada. Their gear is right up there with premium brands but costs less than half as much. I've used their stuff for everything from climbing and running to camping and ski trips. If you care about sports and the outdoors, Decathlon should be your first stop.
