Eight Sleep did remote diagnostics and told me the hub is defective and needs replacing. Their quote was around $1,100 USD, which is out of warranty. That comes out to three major hardware issues in under three years. If I accept the hub repair, my total out-of-pocket costs for repairs will be roughly $1,930 USD for a product that was never mishandled. I did everything their support asked me to. Power cycles, factory resets, running thermal tests. I was patient and cooperative across dozens of emails over several weeks. I requested escalation to a senior manager and heard nothing back. I understand warranty terms exist for a reason. However, when you're buying a premium product and it fails repeatedly, the company's response should match that reality. But Eight Sleep's answer is that I should keep paying for repairs.
