We walked into a fairly quiet bar area but were informed by management that we couldn't order drinks or make dinner reservations unless we were hotel guests. The issue, according to the bar staff, was a payment processing limitation. So we decided to leave. This turned out to be a costly mistake for the hotel. We've now booked our 2024 vacation at the nearby Hilton instead for multiple rooms and nights. The Hilton was more than willing to welcome us. It's unfortunate that in today's business environment, a company would turn away what could have been a significant booking opportunity.
