THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THEIR TOPEKA LOCATION! EVEN FORMER STAFF MEMBERS HAVE TOLD ME HOW BAD THINGS ARE THERE. I STILL RUN INTO SOME PEOPLE WHO USED TO WORK THERE AND THEY'VE SHARED AWFUL STORIES ABOUT HOW THEY WERE MISTREATED BASED ON THEIR RACE AND OTHER REASONS. A DISTRICT MANAGER WAS SO RUDE AND HOSTILE TO ME TODAY THAT I ALMOST STARTED CRYING. Shopping in their stores is fine except they rarely stock taller sizes, so I decided to try ordering online. That's where things fell apart. They say orders ship within 24 to 48 hours. Mine has been sitting in processing for four business days even though they already charged my card. Their customer service is outsourced, meaning many reps aren't native English speakers and you can't get a U.S. representative. They just read from a script and repeat what's already visible in your account status. They kept reassuring me about their 24 to 48 hour shipping window plus 3 to 8 days for ground delivery, but they're already behind schedule. This customer service is absolutely useless. I called twice in two days and only after pushing really hard did I finally reach a domestic supervisor who also confirmed the order is still at the warehouse with no clear shipment date. After ordering on a Tuesday night, by Friday afternoon I still had nothing. Now I'm looking at possibly waiting until the following Friday for my 165 dollars worth of pants, and that's if everything goes smoothly.

Whenever I visit the Ironwood Michigan location, the salesperson Samantha always goes out of her way to help. Thank you Samantha for being so great! I'm really looking forward to many more visits and getting your suggestions on dresses. The clothing quality is excellent.

The Mattoon location deserves zero stars! I normally shop at the Effingham store where the staff is really outstanding. I visited the Mattoon location recently and had a completely different experience. I picked out some items to try on but nobody offered to help me with a fitting room or even acknowledged me. The store was basically empty with three staff members but they all acted like I wasn't even there. I won't return to that Mattoon store ever again. I've never come across such unfriendly employees!

I opened a credit card account with them and paid off my full balance in one payment. They claimed there was a stop payment which isn't true. I thought everything was settled. Wrong! They never actually processed my payment and now they're charging me double what I owe. Stay away from their Comenity Bank card and definitely don't use their financial services. The interest rates are outrageous and on top of that they're overcharging customers. They keep saying things are in their system but nothing shows up on my actual bank account. Nothing but lies. Their customer service reps were unhelpful and the supervisor I spoke with was disrespectful and dismissive. Don't let yourself get caught up in their dishonest billing practices.

I went into this store in Chambersburg Pennsylvania yesterday and it was such a wonderful experience talking with the employee. They were really professional and gave me great advice about their clothing selection. I was thrilled with how low their clearance items were marked down. I'd absolutely come back for more. The store was neat and organized. They treated me with real respect and care. I really appreciate how much you value your customers.

One of their managers displayed really poor behavior. She was yelling over a mistake made with the sale signs and took it out on me, then she began shouting at another employee to take down the signs. Thankfully a different manager stepped in, apologized for the situation, and handled things professionally like a real manager should.

This is so annoying and frustrating when you're trying to buy clothes on their website. I've spent way too many hours building up my shopping cart only to have the site crash repeatedly. Over the past few weeks I've attempted to order multiple times and the result is always the same. All those hours wasted for nothing. I really do love their clothing selections and used to get most of my wardrobe from them, but their broken website cost them a loyal customer plus my two daughters who also shopped there.

The items I got are perfectly fine, but their website keeps going down every time I try to add something to my bag. This is really frustrating. When I finally remember to check my cart later, most of the stuff is gone or out of stock by then. Seems like they don't really want customers to buy anything. It's really a shame because I wanted to shop with them.

What a fun experience paying a business so I could basically wait around for their service. Skip ordering online. This is the second time I've had major issues with an online purchase. It took a full month before they even told me my order was missing. I sent customer service emails five different times that month with zero response and had to use their online chat just to talk to somebody. On my end the tracking kept saying it would arrive in a couple days but it never actually showed as shipped. From their side they claimed it had been picked up. Then they offered me a refund that could take another month to process. And this is my second experience like this in less than twelve months. I've had to put in way too much effort just to get basic information and I never even received what I ordered.

The fit works really well for my body type. I don't have much of a curvy shape, but their styles seem to enhance what I have. The fit is snug without being clingy or too loose. The fabric feels really nice and light.

The quality didn't match what I paid. Sizing ran true to what I expected. Probably won't be ordering again. The one positive was how fast delivery was.

Shopping at Maurices is a great experience! The team makes you feel genuinely valued. Their ongoing promotions are always fantastic and the quality of their products is outstanding.

I used to really like shopping at Maurices but I'm pretty unhappy with them now. I had two frustrating situations recently: 1. I purchased a shirt with a defect and returned it to the store. They processed a replacement for me. When it arrived though, I realized they'd charged me a second time for the exact same shirt. It took two phone conversations to hopefully get a refund, and I'll find out next billing cycle if they actually reversed the charge on my Mastercard. And how did they even get access to my card number? 2. I got black jeans that became all streaky after washing. I brought them back to the store but was told there's nothing they can do. This is definitely not how you keep customers coming back.

They absolutely went the extra mile! My package got returned due to an incorrect address. When I reached out to them, they sent a replacement right away and even added bonus reward points to my account! So thoughtful of them.
