The Alzheimer’s Store Reviews
What Shoppers Say About The Alzheimer’s Store
The Alzheimer's Store receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 1.4 out of 5 based on 12 reviews. The primary complaints center on defective products that arrive broken or fail to function as advertised, misleading product descriptions and marketing claims, and severely problematic customer service including unresponsive phone lines, ignored voicemails, and lack of follow-up support. Shoppers report aggressive return policies with strict restocking fees (25 percent mentioned), slow refund processing, and requirements to pay for return shipping on defective items. Several reviewers describe the experience as exploitative given the vulnerable population the store serves.
A small minority of shoppers gave higher ratings, but detailed reviews indicate even these customers had significant reservations. Common product issues include animatronic pets that function far below advertised capabilities, poor build quality, artificial movement and sounds, and rough textures rather than the soft, comforting designs implied in marketing. Shoppers consistently recommend avoiding the store and warn others about the combination of poor products, deceptive descriptions, unresponsive support, and unfavorable return terms.

We also track our purchases to see if we want to keep them since a handful of negative reviews don't always tell the whole story. We got the memory phone and we're still really pleased with it. Yeah, it's basically a standard phone underneath, but the design is smart with features to cut down on spam. Anyone supporting someone with memory problems should really consider this phone.
The concept sounded great, but the execution is terrible and the product doesn't work right. Don't waste your cash. We got what amounts to a $70 smartphone with a buggy app bundled together and tagged at almost $400 including a pad charger. The phone was super unreliable and their return policy is a total ripoff. Since they have your payment they're not interested in letting go of it. They hit you with 30-50% fees on returns they say are unused, supposedly at their discretion. We get that some medical and personal hygiene items have return restrictions, but a broken phone and charger shouldn't fall into that category. Our return was in perfect shape and unused, yet they still took 33% off our $400. As for how it actually works, we put the phone on the charging pad and left it overnight. By the next day the screen had switched from the Alzheimer's interface over to the regular phone system. We phoned their tech support but the issue kept happening, which would be a nightmare for someone managing moderate Alzheimer's or a caregiver without much technical know-how. On top of that the display stays lit all the time which burns through the battery super fast on this budget phone.
