AutoCheck feels like a straight up scam. Just get CarFax instead and don't waste your money. The data they provide is incomplete and sketchy, and their own policy basically says the reports might be incomplete and that's not their problem. How they're allowed to charge customers while admitting their product is incomplete is beyond me. It's really wrong.

I spent $29.99 on an AutoCheck report and got basically nothing for it. The report was only half a page with bare minimum info and didn't even include recent service history from the last 10,000 miles. CarFax gave me way more detail for the same thing. It's hard to see how AutoCheck is even considered a real competitor to CarFax. For the limited info you get, this should cost maybe $9.99 tops. Don't waste your money if you want actual useful information.

These guys are just another scam operation. There are free sites out there that give you better vehicle history info. AutoCheck claimed the car I bought had been at 3 different Canadian dealerships before I got it, and their bogus report showed the same mileage at all 3 places which makes no sense. I actually called all 3 dealerships and every single one said they never had that car in their inventory. Total garbage from AutoCheck.

Be careful with this service. Someone claiming to be a potential buyer of my vehicle insisted on using AutoCheck specifically and wouldn't accept any other report. After they got what they wanted, they disappeared. The whole thing felt really sketchy and suspicious.

I thought I could get the same information as CarFax but cheaper. Turns out they don't include service records like CarFax does. When I asked for my money back they basically told me no. It's not a terrible option but it's definitely second rate.

I bought a car based on an AutoCheck report that said it had never been in an accident. Then I got a CarFax report on the same vehicle and found out it actually had 2 accidents before I purchased it. This is really unreliable and I wouldn't recommend trusting AutoCheck for something this important.

AutoCheck listed my vehicle as a lease vehicle when I've owned it since brand new and never leased it. They also reported an accident that never happened - it was just debris on the road according to the official state report I have. Don't rely on AutoCheck if you want accurate info. I ended up selling the car elsewhere.
