Aveneusa Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Aveneusa
Aveneusa has received uniformly negative feedback from shoppers, with all reviews rating the store at one star. The primary complaints center on customer service failures, including unresponsive support teams that ignore emails and contact form submissions, ineffective online chat and phone support systems, and representatives who decline to assist with shipping issues. Additional concerns include significantly delayed shipping (taking over two weeks for standard domestic orders), incomplete orders with missing items that go unresolved, website functionality problems (such as broken subscription cancellation features and discount code discrepancies), and inadequate shipping practices that have resulted in product damage during cold weather.
While reviewers do not comment extensively on product quality itself, the overwhelming sentiment is that Aveneusa's operational and customer service shortcomings overshadow any potential merit in their offerings. Shoppers report frustration with the company's inability or unwillingness to resolve issues through multiple contact channels, leaving customers without recourse when problems occur.

Sorted by: Most recentCustomer service really dropped the ball here. I reached out before my order shipped on the 14th but they went ahead and sent it out anyway on the 16th without addressing my concern. On top of that, I've been trying to cancel my subscription through their website but that particular feature won't work, even though everything else on the site functions fine. Looks like I'll need to call them instead, which is not something I'm looking forward to.
This order took way too long to arrive, over two weeks from purchase to delivery. I ordered from New Jersey to Virginia, which shouldn't be complicated, yet the shipping dragged on forever. When I called to ask about it, the customer service rep basically said they couldn't help and actually suggested I contact UPS directly to expedite things. That doesn't make sense since I bought from this company, not a shipping carrier. Their website promises orders ship in 1 to 2 business days and arrive in 3 to 5 days after that, with only Alaska and Hawaii getting 14 days max. They clearly aren't meeting their own standards and don't seem to care much about customer satisfaction. I won't be ordering from Avene again and would recommend trying a different brand instead.
I placed an order for four items and only received one when the package arrived. Two weeks have gone by and I still haven't gotten the missing three products. I've tried reaching out multiple times through email and their website contact form with zero response from anyone at the company. Maybe their products are great, but that doesn't matter if you never actually get what you paid for.
What a frustrating waste of time. The site advertises 15% off when you sign up for text messages, but it only gave me 10% at checkout. After spending time figuring that out, I tried their online chat support and got told to call instead. Spent another several minutes on hold just to hear an automated message saying they couldn't connect me, then the line went dead. This is a classic bait and switch situation. Stay away from Avene's promotions.
Ordered a couple of cream products that showed up completely frozen after a winter cold snap. The company shipped via UPS Surepost, which then handed off to USPS for final delivery. My guess is the package sat outside for a while before USPS picked it up in the morning, and nobody bothered to knock or ring the bell when they dropped it off. When I opened the creams to inspect them, the contents had separated and sprayed out everywhere from being frozen. I asked Avene customer service for a replacement, but the representative was dismissive. She demanded I prove the products were frozen and separated before she'd even consider helping. Otherwise I had to return them unopened, which wasn't possible since I'd already opened them to check. She also made it clear that returning anything would be on my dime, no prepaid label. To top it off, she mentioned they ship thousands of packages daily, making my issue sound completely unreasonable.
