Disappointed by the Durability Claims I really wanted to like these sunglasses, but I'm pretty frustrated with my experience. The marketing definitely had me convinced that Babiators were built to last through anything a kid could throw at them, and there's supposed to be a replacement guarantee if something goes wrong. We got a pair for our son and were told they'd handle all the rough-and-tumble stuff kids do. But they broke just from normal use, nothing extreme at all. That's when we tried to use the warranty they advertise so heavily. Unfortunately, getting them replaced turned out to be a nightmare. We've had a really hard time getting responses, and whenever we do hear back, we just get the runaround with corporate-speak that doesn't actually help. The "guarantee" they tout so proudly doesn't seem to mean much in practice. I'd say if you value the hype and the initial thrill of getting a new product in the mail, then sure, go for it. But if you're expecting the durability and customer service that's being promised, you might want to look elsewhere. The follow-through just isn't there to back up the big promises.
