What Shoppers Say About baretraps.com
Baretraps.com has received uniformly negative feedback from shoppers on RetailCoupons.com. Reviewers report serious issues including damaged products upon arrival, unresponsive customer service, orders that never arrived without refunds being issued, and premature product failure with poor durability. One shopper described a defective boot that the company acknowledged but required the customer to pay return shipping and repurchase at full price rather than offering a replacement, which reviewers characterized as unacceptable service recovery.
The recurring theme across all feedback centers on customer service failures and product quality concerns. Shoppers express frustration not only with the shoes themselves but primarily with how the company handles problems after purchase. No positive aspects of the shopping experience or product quality were mentioned in available reviews.

Sorted by: Most recentGot a pair of boots from Baretraps that showed up already damaged. I sent them a picture of the problem, and they agreed the boots were defective. But then they told me I had to pay to ship them back and buy new ones at full price, even though I'd gotten mine on sale. That's really poor customer service. They should swap out the boots for free since it's clearly their mistake. I'm done buying from this brand.
Never received my order and the company won't refund my money. Their customer service is absolutely horrible.
These shoes fell apart way too fast. I got a pair last year from a shoe retailer and only wore them around 7 times before the heel on one shoe cracked completely. That was really frustrating since I expected them to last much longer. I'd actually told some friends about them recently, so now I feel pretty bad about that recommendation. I tried reaching out to Bare Traps through Facebook and email with pictures of the damage, but they basically said it was the store's problem, not theirs. Since I didn't keep my receipt, I couldn't get the store to help either. I do have photos showing how fresh the shoes still looked when they broke. After looking at other people's experiences online, it seems like this is a common problem with their shoes. Apparently even customers with receipts don't get much help from them.
