We stuck with Beyond for six years across different platforms and properties. Not thrilled the whole time, but figured it beat nothing. Several major problems came up during our time with them: First, they charge a percentage from your total bookings including government taxes. When we raised this issue, they said that's their policy and too bad. In our location taxes run about 20%, so we were losing hundreds annually in fees just from tax collection! Second, natural disaster damage shut down our place. We had to cancel valuable reservations. Beyond wouldn't refund our fees, claiming their policy let them collect cancellation charges regardless. Their explanation was ridiculous. Third, they pocket their cut when things go smoothly but keep the money even if you refund guests or have to cancel bookings outside your control. It's completely backwards.

This product is really bad. The pricing doesn't change much and just keeps hitting rock bottom rates across the whole month without any weekend adjustments. I asked why it constantly bottoms out and got told I'd need to drop my rates to fifty dollars for a four-bedroom to get it working right. That's completely absurd. I'd tell anyone looking to pass on this service because there are much better choices out there. Most other property rate optimization tools blow this away by a mile. On top of everything, their billing is sketchy and dishonest. They charge you for bookings from the past and even ones where you got a security deposit, plus they take commission on deposits you never actually receive. Worst service I've dealt with in years. You can't reach anyone through chat or phone, only email, and they typically take at least two days to respond.

My time with Beyond has gone pretty well overall. We've been customers for several years and we've seen our owners generate considerably more income since we started using their system. They keep rolling out fresh features that make the pricing side much simpler.

This is hands down the best revenue management system we've used. It's made a dramatic difference compared to previous platforms and in-house solutions. The staff here really knows what they're doing and stays connected to your needs, always focused on helping you succeed.
