What Shoppers Say About Bosch Tools
Bosch Tools receives mixed and concerning feedback from shoppers, with a 2.0 out of 5 rating based on 3 reviews. Shoppers express disappointment with what they perceive as a decline in product quality, particularly noting that drill bits and screwdriver sets are breaking more easily than in previous years, contrary to the brand's historical reputation for durability. Additionally, recent product design choices have drawn criticism, such as uncomfortable handle designs on lawn mowers that cause blisters during use.
Customer service issues compound quality concerns. Reviewers report significant delays with promotional offers, including free batteries that failed to arrive within reasonable timeframes, combined with unresponsive or burdensome support processes when attempting to resolve these issues. The lack of five or four-star ratings suggests shoppers are not currently recommending Bosch Tools based on their recent experiences.

Sorted by: Most recentReally disappointed with Bosch's direction lately. I've been using their tools for years because they were known for solid quality and dependability, especially their power tools and add-ons. Unfortunately, things seem to have slipped. In the past few months alone, I've had drill bits and screwdriver sets snap and break way too easily during regular work. This isn't just one bad experience - it's happened enough times that I'm genuinely concerned about whether they're still holding themselves to the same standards they built their reputation on. Then there's the customer service angle, which bothers me just as much. Whenever I bring up a problem, the first thing they ask is 'do you have your receipt?' I get that companies need proof sometimes, but it feels more like they're putting up walls instead of actually supporting the products they sell. A lot of us long-time customers don't keep every single receipt, but we do expect tools that last and service that's actually helpful. I really hope Bosch pays attention to feedback like this, because honestly, they're going to start losing customers who used to be die-hard fans of the brand if this keeps up.
The handle design on this Bosch lawnmower 37 is painful to use. The sharp-edged handles give me blisters on my thumbs underneath while I'm mowing. My previous Bosch model had rounded handles that were comfortable to grip and easy on your hands, but these 'oblong' handles have hard edges right where your thumbs naturally hold on, making it uncomfortable every single time I use it. They really missed the mark on the ergonomics and practicality of this design.
Watch out for their battery promotion deals!!! I bought 3 tools as part of a deal that included a free battery with each purchase. I signed up for the promotion on their website the same day I got the tools. Three months went by with no batteries showing up, so I reached out to their support team. What followed was frustrating - I had to resend my proof of purchase 4 different times because they kept saying they couldn't open my files. After going back and forth in over 15 emails with their support people, they still wouldn't send the batteries. Don't fall for this promotion!
