What Shoppers Say About Brighton Collectibles
Brighton Collectibles receives predominantly negative feedback from shoppers, with the majority rating their experience poorly. The most common complaints center on product quality and durability issues, including tarnishing, broken clasps, and stones falling out despite high prices. Customers also express frustration with the company's warranty and guarantee policies, describing them as ineffective and unresponsive. Additional grievances include poor customer service at physical locations, unhelpful return and exchange processes, and technical issues with the online Shop app platform that result in unintended purchases.
A small segment of shoppers appreciate the aesthetic appeal of individual products, such as the design of specific bracelets and jewelry pieces. However, this positive sentiment is outweighed by concerns about durability and the overall value proposition. Long-time customers report abandoning the brand after repeated negative experiences with quality control and service. The company's refusal to provide simple services like watch battery changes at retail locations has also contributed to customer attrition.

Sorted by: Most recentI ordered 4 keychains online as gifts, and when they arrived, none of them came in the brand cotton bag that customers love. Customer service told me only jewelry gets those bags. But I've ordered keychains and bookmarks many times over the years and they've always come with that cute cotton bag, tissue, and branded packaging. The representative was rude about it, and I'm returning the $155 order. Hope that decision works out for them.
I'm so happy because my package finally arrived today. It's gorgeous and I absolutely love it. I can't wait to start wearing it. Thank you so much Brighton.
I ordered a Secret Santa gift for $20, and while their policy says no returns, they should mention that the bracelet might not fit you. My wrists are small and this bracelet was tiny, like it was made for a doll. My 11 year old could barely get it on. I called customer service because they talk up how great it is, but they just kept repeating their no return policy. I would've been happy to swap it for earrings or something else, but come on, a bracelet that's too small and looks like it should cost $2? I don't usually write reviews, but this is ridiculous.
Don't buy this jewelry, it's poor quality and turns black. Seriously, it falls apart in just a few years without tarnishing. They only warranty it for one year. I own at least 15 jewelry sets with necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. At least six of my necklaces have turned black and I can't do anything but throw them away. The prices are too high for how bad the quality is.
Great merchandise and service. I shop here regularly and I'm friendly with everyone at the local outlet in Simi Valley, CA. Over the years I've bought many necklaces, a full leather purse for my wife, a leather wallet, and charm pieces for bracelets. The staff at this location goes above and beyond to help us. We've spent entire afternoons there on some visits.
My necklace went missing. I had taken off my necklace because the heart chains looked tarnished, and that's the last time I ever saw it. It disappeared and I know I'll never get it back. My husband gave me that necklace before he passed, and losing it really hurts. I understand you're a big company and these things happen, so I have to accept it.
The earrings caused my earlobes to scab up, and when the scabs fell off they left deep holes. I reached out to the company and they asked how they could help. I sent them photos showing the damage to my ears from their earrings. They never responded. This company claims their earrings don't cause reactions and that they're silver and gold plated. Something isn't right. I've never had a reaction to any jewelry in my life. This doesn't look like an allergic reaction, it looks like chemical burns. The company has to be lying about the materials since silver, gold, and even nickel don't burn holes in skin. They won't respond to my messages, offer a refund, or do anything to help. What bothers me most is they genuinely don't seem to care about their customers at all.
