What Shoppers Say About Bruntworkwear
Bruntworkwear receives sharply divided feedback, with most shoppers reporting serious durability and quality issues. Multiple reviewers describe boots failing within six to eight months of use, including composite toe delamination and compromised waterproofing, despite claims of longevity. Beyond product concerns, customers cite significant customer service failures: lack of order communication, shipping delays, and backorder issues without proper updates. One reviewer praised comfort and durability, but this positive experience stands as an exception among predominantly negative reports.
A recurring complaint involves marketing claims that do not align with actual products. Shoppers report boots labeled as American made that are actually manufactured in Bangladesh, along with discrepancies between advertised waterproofing and real-world performance. The combination of premature product failure, poor customer communication, and perceived misleading marketing practices has left most recent buyers dissatisfied, though the small sample size and isolated positive review suggest experiences may vary.

Sorted by: Most recentOnly got about 7 or 8 months out of these before they fell apart. They're supposed to be waterproof but they're not.
Bought a pair of Brunt comp toe boots and after about 6 months of wear, the toe started coming apart. I rotate between two pairs of boots so I'm only wearing them every other day, which means I only got half a year of use before they failed. Honestly, I wear them mostly indoors doing welding work, and I take really good care of them, cleaning regularly and using quality leather treatment. I grabbed a cheaper pair of work boots as my backup and wouldn't you know it, those cheap ones are still going strong while the expensive Brunt boots gave out. Called the company and they said it wasn't covered under warranty due to being a small business or something like that. That's pretty disappointing since I run my own small business and always stand behind my products with full refunds if anyone's not happy.
The customer service here really let me down. I spent $300 on boots and got zero communication about when they'd ship or arrive. No confirmation email, no tracking info, nothing. The company does a great job selling their stuff online, but once you hand over your money, they disappear. I've been shopping online forever and never had this happen before. If my boots went missing, that's on them for taking payment without ensuring delivery. I'd seriously reconsider spending your money with this company. It's just too risky.
The whole marketing push about these being American made is misleading. I ordered the Marin boots and they sat on backorder while the company had no problem cashing my check. Two months later they finally show up. The boots looked decent enough but smelled cheap. They were okay to wear in but then I noticed the tag said Made in Bangladesh. All their advertising talks about American made quality, so this was a real letdown. When I called to complain, the customer service rep offered a return label, but that doesn't change the fact that I was sold on something that turned out not to be what they claimed.
