The hot tub had zero chlorine and stunk like mold so we couldn't use it. The bedroom Jacuzzi had slimy mold coming from the jets. No way to use that. The toilet seat was cracked. The stovetop was grimy and sticky. Several light bulbs were burned out in the living room. The sofa bed was in terrible shape and needs replacing. The wall outlets in the dining area were faulty. Plugs wouldn't stay put. We called the office repeatedly and dropped off a written list of issues at the main desk. Nobody came. Nobody called.
Stayed at Bear Tracks cabin and it was absolutely awful. The place was disgusting with dirty areas that appeared to never have been cleaned in months. The online photos made it look nothing like the actual state of the cabin. My sister had rented from them the week before, called to complain about her experience, and nothing was fixed, so we didn't even bother reporting our issues. We're done with this company for good and telling everyone we know to stay away. The person who supposedly cleaned left a tip envelope for us. Seriously? That's just embarrassing.
We rented Turtle Dovin and the photographer did a nice job. The pictures made it seem isolated in the forest but there's actually another cabin just 20 yards over. We didn't use the hot tub because it smells terrible. The living room television doesn't work and there are wires hanging all over the place. There is a gas fireplace, plenty of outdoor seating, and the water pressure and temperature are excellent. You'll want to bring your own cleaning supplies like Windex and disinfectant wipes.
We checked in last night and the cabin was absolutely filthy. There were no clean towels, garbage was overflowing in the cans, and we found used condom wrappers on the floor. We paid a $99 cleaning fee but clearly nobody cleaned before we arrived. This is the grossest cabin we've seen. It also desperately needs serious repairs and updates. The upstairs Jacuzzi tub was leaking and the roof was leaking too. We paid over $400 for one night and got to sleep surrounded by someone else's dirt.
Absolute worst rental company ever. We booked 6 months in advance for a Pigeon Forge cabin. Three months before our trip, we got word that our reservation was being canceled because the cabin owner left their program. There were no comparable cabins at the same price we paid, only pricier options. Cabins USA gave us zero discount on the more expensive ones available. The staff seemed completely indifferent and acted like it wasn't their problem. Other companies I've contacted don't have anything in our budget either. Our carefully planned vacation is ruined with no place to go now. Be careful when booking with them and have a backup plan ready.
Zero stars if I could. Checked in Wednesday night with 11 people including 2 teenagers and a toddler at The Woodsy Rest. The climb up the driveway was terrifying and we couldn't find anywhere to park. I've never had to put a minivan in low gear on such a steep grade before. The WiFi was out, televisions didn't work, dishwasher broke, hot tub quit after one use, foul copper taste to the well water, stained furniture, dirty pool table with no cues, filthy carpeting, and electrical lines everywhere. We called every single day for callbacks and they promised help that never came. Maintenance showed up on day 2 and got one TV working in the pool room, but that doesn't help when you're stuck with a pool table. We went to the office twice and still got nothing. Rain the entire trip meant we really needed those broken amenities to work but got no support. Cabins USA simply doesn't care about their customers or what they're paying.
My family had a horrible time with Cabins USA. We paid over $13,000 for 5 nights over Independence Day weekend. The place was filthy. Around 10 arcade games were broken. Both hot tubs weren't functional and the pool was dirty. The oven was busted and had duct tape on it. Towel holders were broken. The sofa was torn up. Utensils were dirty when we got them out. There was a hole in the bathtub. Many lights were burned out and TV remotes had no batteries. I could list more problems. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with and we won't use them again.
The website pictures are very misleading. This was a terrible experience overall. The front porch, steps, swing and rocking chair were all unsafe. The living room rug and fireplace were filthy. The couch and loveseat were stained, damp and smelled awful. You wouldn't want to sit on either one. The dishwasher barely cleaned anything. Blinds throughout the cabin were broken in places. Mold covered the bathrooms. The balcony view was blocked because the trees had grown completely in front of it and weren't being trimmed. This cabin desperately needs deep cleaning plus repairs and upgrades. Wish I had something positive to report.
Do not book here. Nothing about this stay was satisfactory, not the accommodations, amenities, location, or comfort. The whole experience was disappointing. First off, the address on all our paperwork was incorrect and we're not the only ones this happened to. We had to drive a mile further, turn up a random steep road and then go downhill to the property. The driveway is nothing like the photo and it's extremely steep and hard to navigate in and out, especially if another cabin is right next door. This cabin needs proper inspection before families arrive. On day one we submitted 3 work orders: cable wasn't working in any of the 3 bedrooms or living room plus no working TV remote on the main set, the hot water heater was switched off so there was no hot water at 10pm when we got there, and the fireplace wouldn't work. Beyond those issues, the water shutoff valve in the main bathroom almost came loose, the sofa bed was broken and kept scratching our floors.
