What Shoppers Say About Calyx Flowers
Calyx Flowers receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 5 reviews averaging 1.4 out of 5. The most common complaints center on product quality and delivery issues: customers report receiving dead or dying flowers, arrangements that differ significantly from website photos, incorrect item counts (fewer flowers than ordered), and missing requested components like vases. Multiple long-time customers express disappointment that service quality has deteriorated over time, with one reviewer noting 15 years of loyalty ending after a recent order arrived completely dead for a memorial service.
Customer service appears to be another significant pain point, with shoppers reporting difficulty obtaining help when problems occur. The few positive aspects mentioned relate to what the company used to offer, but current experiences center on unmet expectations for a premium florist, including late deliveries, poor flower condition upon arrival, and failures to fulfill specific requests. No reviewers on RetailCoupons.com report satisfaction with recent orders.

Sorted by: Most recentUsed to Be Great, But Service Has Completely Fallen Apart. This company used to deliver fantastic products and actually cared about their customers. That's not the case anymore, at least not with their current service level. I placed an order and the flowers never made it to the person I was sending them to. When I tried to get help, it was a nightmare - phone calls where you can only leave voicemails that never get returned, and emails that disappear into a black hole. Nothing got resolved. Eventually I had to get my bank involved to dispute the charge and get my money back. If you're thinking about ordering from them, proceed with caution.
15 Years of Loyalty, Now Done for Good. I've been a customer since 2010, but after what happened with my recent order, I'm officially done. I ordered a beautiful spring arrangement in an elegant vase for a memorial service honoring my mother-in-law. What showed up at the door was shocking - the flowers were completely dead and shriveled, looking like they'd been sitting in a dumpster for days, stuffed into a cheap metal bucket instead of the vase I paid for. When I called to complain and ask for my money back, they basically told me they reserve the right to send whatever they want if the original item isn't in stock. That's not how customer service should work, especially for such an important occasion. Over 15 years my family trusted them, but clearly those days are long gone.
Holiday 2025 Disaster: Both Product and Service Failed. During the 2025 holiday season, I placed an order for a Christmas arrangement to give to a family member. When it arrived, it looked nothing like what was pictured on their website. The flowers had brown discoloration already showing on the edges, and leaves were falling off left and right. I contacted their support and they basically told me to remove the dead leaves, trim the stems, and use fresh water, as if that would somehow fix the mess. I responded that I'd already done all of that, and they just stopped responding. I then tried calling the phone number on their site and left a voicemail, which nobody ever called back. At that point I found the owner's email and sent him two separate messages with photos showing the problems. He ignored both emails. This company markets itself as a luxury florist, but the flowers were terrible and the customer service was even worse. Don't waste your money here.
Six Roses Became Four, and Quality Was Disappointing. I ordered what was supposed to be a six-rose bouquet. The whole thing showed up a full day later than promised, and when I opened it, there were only four roses inside. One of those four looked absolutely awful and was already halfway dead. For a supposedly luxury florist and the amount I spent, I really expected better than this.
Mom's Gift Arrived Without the Vase I Requested. I specifically mentioned in my order that my mom needed a vase included because hers wouldn't work for the flowers I was sending. The arrangement showed up with no vase at all. Since the flowers couldn't be properly displayed in her existing vases, they drooped badly and didn't look right. My mom, who's been receiving flowers from me for 60 years, actually told me it was the first time she didn't enjoy my gift and suggested I get a refund. To make matters worse, I visited my mother-in-law just 4 days after she got her flowers from the same order, and they already looked limp and terrible. I reached out asking for money back on the vase, and they offered a $20 credit instead of a refund. I pushed back and demanded an actual refund, so they sent me $10. I'd stopped using this company years ago because the arrangements weren't great, but I thought maybe they'd gotten better. Turns out I was wrong to give them another chance.
