First issue, I received two boxes out of four that had thawed contents. A replacement was sent that was acceptable, though it should've had extra ice. No charges for that replacement, thankfully. Then I got another box with thawed items. They assured me a replacement at no cost due to the thaw problem. But today my bank statement shows a $150 charge for a brand new box. I should've gotten a heads up about skipping, since I'd get the replacement AND the new box at basically the same time! Fourth problem, I spent more than 90 minutes in their online chat trying to work this out. Following multiple text exchanges, chat sessions, and email chains, I finally received an email saying both boxes arrive in a couple days. I'm genuinely concerned whether either box will be properly frozen when it arrives or if they'll show up thawed.
I used to be a regular customer with Daily Harvest, but my last few transactions have been really upsetting and frustrating. Even though I skipped every box option available, I got hit with an unexpected auto-renewal that charged my account without any clear warning beforehand. The website's subscription process is way too confusing and hard to navigate. Pausing or canceling auto-renewals isn't straightforward, and the timing requirements aren't explained well. Making it worse, the support team wasn't helpful at all. Their reply basically said it was my fault for not skipping quickly enough, even when I skipped everything I could see. They didn't take any responsibility or work with me to fix the problem. Daily Harvest really needs to fix their customer-facing experience and how their subscription system works. Right now it feels more like they're trapping you than helping you out. I'm not coming back.

Absolutely terrible experience with both support and shipping!!!! Their round the clock chat support doesn't function... I sent an email and received nothing back... my order didn't show up when promised, instead it came late the next evening with no cooling packs! We're here in Arizona. I quit using them previously because of the same problem, but we had to eat during our kitchen renovation... they really shouldn't be trusted, still haven't heard anything. I'm done ordering from this company forever!!!!

It's a bit pricey, though honestly it feels worthwhile because I'm consuming way more vegetables than I ever did before. Whenever I've had concerns, the support staff has been fantastic. My one request is that they'd bring back some discontinued products like the coffee pods and frozen treats they used to sell.
