What Shoppers Say About Sunday
Sunday's lawn care program receives sharply divided feedback, with shoppers either enthusiastically satisfied or significantly disappointed. Positive reviewers praise the product's safety for families and pets, noting visible lawn improvement over time and expressing satisfaction with results. However, the majority of reviewers report substantial problems: lawns that worsened despite following instructions, ineffective weed control, products with quality issues (crushed/clogged dispensers), time-consuming application schedules, and customer service that failed to address concerns. Several reviewers note that competitors delivered better results faster and at lower cost.
The core complaint centers on performance gaps between marketing promises and actual results. Reviewers frequently mention that despite significant time and financial investment over months or years, their lawns did not improve as advertised, and some deteriorated. Application difficulty and frequency also frustrate users. Those who do experience success emphasize the non-toxic formula as a key benefit, but they represent a minority among recent feedback. The polarized rating distribution suggests Sunday works well for some lawn conditions or user expectations but falls significantly short for most customers.

Sorted by: Most recentThis so-called customized program ruined my lawn. Got the wrong seed mix and it destroyed all the work I'd put in over the years. The weed control didn't work and customer service just made empty promises. You're better off finding a local lawn care company.
Spent a full year using this stuff exactly as they said to do it, and my lawn just got worse with more weeds. Meanwhile my neighbors on both sides didn't do anything and their grass looks way better. I bought everything they recommended and paid good money for it all, but nothing worked. They definitely have great ads and marketing that make it sound amazing. Too bad the actual product doesn't deliver.
Started using this about two years ago and I'm really happy with how it works. I have a lot of lawn that needed serious help when I moved in. Since I have kids and dogs running around, I needed something safe and non-toxic. Can't say enough good things about this product!
Total letdown. The marketing promised way more than the actual product delivers. My lawn ended up looking worse, not better. Support was unhelpful and customer service didn't seem to care once they had my money. Wish I'd never bothered with this.
First bag had a crusty layer at the bottom that clogged the dispenser so I wasted two hours running water on my lawn. Got a replacement dispenser but it only works at an angle. Later tried fitting it to another sprayer but getting anything to work with this product takes forever.
Terrible investment of both money and time. It takes forever to apply every 3 to 4 weeks all spring, summer, and fall. After three years the results were barely noticeable. Switched to Scott's last fall and after just three applications my lawn is thicker, greener, and way fewer weeds. Cost me a third as much and takes less than 20 minutes total. Their packaging and ads look nice but don't fall for the soil testing and exaggerated promises like I did. It's a huge waste. Also canceling the subscription is a nightmare because they keep billing and shipping even after you ask them to stop. Good luck returning anything since they claim everything is customized. It's basically just an autoship scam.
Really frustrated with how this works. I've spent two seasons trying different sprayers to get it to dispense properly. The whole concept relies on using garden hoses but the nozzles they provide are cheap and break constantly. I even paid extra for replacement nozzles and they all failed too. Ended up canceling my subscription.
Big mistake. I canceled since I don't live there anymore but they kept charging me. When I disputed it, my account got locked so I couldn't pull my evidence. Can't believe they're willing to lose customers over a $129 charge.
Total rip-off. They sneak you into an auto-subscription when you use a promo code. Next thing you know there's a $300+ charge on your card. They don't even notify you before shipments so you can cancel. And they claim you can't return anything because it's customized for your lawn, which is nonsense since they're just standard formulas based on grass type. Nothing custom about it. It's a scam to keep your money for products you never agreed to buy. Look elsewhere.
