That changed once I started maintaining it regularly. When using thicker materials the unit would clog up and I'd have to clean it after every couple sessions. After about eight weeks of use, the ceramic component in the mouthpiece cracked from all the cleaning cycles. I reached out to customer service multiple times trying to figure out options. Could they send me a replacement ceramic piece? Was there a discount code to buy one? Could they offer any guidance on repairs? The response I got back was basically too bad. Legal complications, they said. No replacement parts available. No discount offered. No suggestions on fixing it. After going back and forth twice they basically said I was out of luck. I tried explaining that seventy five dollars was significant money for me and I was just trying to maintain the device. They weren't interested in helping. I'm on a fixed income and can't justify dropping another seventy five dollars on a new unit just because the cleaning caused a component to fail. It's disappointing that they won't stand by their products. Regular folks like me don't have unlimited budgets to replace things whenever they break. I really hope they'll reconsider their approach to customer support and warranty issues. I got nothing but silence and rejection. That's a pretty terrible way to treat your customers. Don't recommend buying from them.
I wish I'd done more homework before ordering from this outfit. Their website looks totally legit and professional. I put a G Pen in my cart on January seventh and got a message saying if I bought right then it would go out quickly, but otherwise there'd be delays from January eighth through the nineteenth. I believed it and went ahead. My order confirmation said it would ship soon but also mentioned delays due to current conditions with a ten to fourteen day wait. I wasn't thrilled but figured I should trust what the system told me. Two weeks passed and I was fed up, especially since I had travel plans coming up. I couldn't get a shipping date from anyone on their support team. After looking at what other people said online, I discovered that shipping problems and poor customer service happened constantly no matter the time of year. Really disappointing. I sent them an email with no response. Tried messaging them on Twitter since they were still posting, nothing. Got on their live chat and finally just canceled the whole thing. The actual product might be solid but dealing with getting it to your door is a nightmare.
Bought an item for one hundred eighty dollars. It's been almost a month and I still don't have it or my money back. When I contacted Grenco Science they keep telling me it shipped but can't issue a refund until the item arrives. It supposedly shipped but there are no tracking updates. Ordered mid-June, writing this in mid-July. Do not buy from them. Customer service is absolutely terrible.
Grenco Science basically scammed me out of my money. I spent over two hundred dollars on their Gpen Gio products and they're straight up refusing to ship what I ordered. All I get are excuses and the runaround when I try to email them for answers. Grenco Science, just send my stuff already.
I placed an order on April 28th. When I checked in on May 4th asking where it was since I'd paid extra for expedited shipping, they told me to expect another week and a half wait. That's completely unacceptable. Their website doesn't mention anything about shipping delays, only customer service delays, and they won't pick up the phone. I'm giving them a one star because they couldn't even bother to notify me about the holdup on something I'd already paid for.
