What Shoppers Say About Happiest Baby
Happiest Baby products have received overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, rated 1.0 out of 5 by 23 reviewers. The primary complaints center on aggressive subscription pricing models that lock basic features behind paywalls after purchase, with customers reporting unexpected $20 to $30 monthly fees for functions previously included. Additional serious concerns include poor customer service experiences, defective or refurbished units failing to perform, slow or unfulfilled replacement shipments, and inflexible return policies that shoppers describe as insensitive to their circumstances.
While some reviewers acknowledge that the products themselves function well when working properly and that others have reported positive sleep outcomes, the overwhelming majority of feedback focuses on feeling deceived by pricing practices, abandoned by customer support when issues arise, and frustrated by what they characterize as unethical business practices. The pricing model particularly frustrates customers who made significant upfront investments (ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars) only to face unexpected subscription requirements to maintain basic functionality.

Sorted by: Most recentThey're locking important features behind a subscription paywall after you buy. I got mine secondhand thinking I'd have access to all advertised features. Plus I spent hundreds buying accessories and stuff from their store. If I'd known about this subscription paywall beforehand, I wouldn't have purchased anything from them. This is a really short-sighted and anti-customer decision.
We actually liked our snoo despite the setup being annoying, but then they switched to a subscription model for most of the features we thought we bought. Customer service doesn't seem to care how this impacts families or what it does to resale value. The worst part is they put the weaning feature behind a paywall, which means if you don't pay, you're stuck trying to transition your baby from the snoo to their crib without help.
The SNOO Smart Cot looked promising at first but turned out to be a huge letdown that's nowhere near worth the crazy high price. It talks about having tons of smart features to help soothe your baby, but now many of them are locked behind a subscription paywall at $15 monthly. Switching to a subscription model basically removes all the key features that made this thing worth buying in the first place, leaving you with just a fancy bassinet. People who already paid a lot for this cot, even secondhand, now have to shell out extra for features they thought came with it. It's a total cash grab that takes advantage of exhausted parents. On top of that, the app is clunky and hard to use, which makes everything worse. For what they charge, you'd think everything would work smoothly without hidden fees. The SNOO falls short in every way. It's simply not worth the money.
