Sorted by: Most recentThe pizza turned out pretty good but the sub fell short of what I was hoping for.
Ordered from the Mount Clemens location and was really disappointed. The bread came out dry and cold with way too much cheese on it. I basically threw my money away since it took over an hour to arrive. I'm done ordering from this place.
Our family just returned to Michigan after being away for over 20 years. Tried Hungry Howie's while staying at a hotel in Clare and couldn't believe how good it was. My parents said it tasted just like they remembered from years ago. The pizza was fresh, hot, loaded with toppings, and the salad was really great too. Definitely ordering again!
The Seminole Florida location is our favorite spot! They consistently get orders right, get them out super fast, and everything is hot and tasty. We'd be lost without them nearby. The three cheese bread, meat lovers with jalapeños and mushrooms, and even their antipasta salad are all delicious. Definitely quality stuff!
We moved to Florida a few years back and found our favorite spot at the location near Highway 27S in Sebring. We regularly grab their pizzas and hoggy sandwiches and have never had a problem with any order. Their salads are fantastic too, and the cinnamon dessert bread with the thick creamy topping is amazing. We always do pickup and our food is ready when promised. This is definitely our go-to place whenever we want quick, quality food.
I placed an order through the app and had a promotional flyer that said online orders over fifteen dollars get free Howie bread. I couldn't input the promotion in the app so I called the store and they promised to adjust the bill in person. When I picked up, they never applied the discount and charged me full price.
Ordered a small sausage pizza and spent $50 total with a large pepperoni and 8 wings. The sausage pizza barely had any meat on it, maybe just 10 pieces total. Everything tasted like it came straight from cardboard. Definitely not worth the money and I won't be ordering again.
When we first moved to Phoenix, we tried Hungry Howies a few times. The pizza wasn't amazing but it was cheap and acceptable. Then about four years ago prices went up and quality dropped. We got pizzas with raw dough in the middle. We thought maybe they'd improved after a few years, but we were wrong. For New Year's Day we ordered over $60 worth of pizza with friends over. When it arrived, the order was incomplete and they refused to deliver the rest. My son had to pick it up himself. When we checked the pizzas, they were burned to a char and completely inedible. Even the bread they remade was overdone and nearly charred. The store wouldn't take responsibility and blamed the delivery service instead. If you want to waste money on food you can't eat, go ahead. If you actually want edible pizza, stay away from this place on East Thomas.
This location claimed they deliver within a five mile radius but wouldn't deliver to me even though I'm only 4.4 miles away. When I called to ask about it, the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. I won't be giving this place any more business in this area.
I got a customer service credit and tried to use it, but the delivery and gas fees are absolutely ridiculous at almost seven dollars total. I don't understand why companies charge customers for driver gas and then impose a minimum delivery order of almost eight dollars. I've worked in the pizza industry for over four decades and I've seen companies squeeze customers more and more over the years. It seems like they're trying to push people toward pickup orders to avoid driver costs. But when they're charging seven bucks per delivery, customers are basically paying the driver's salary themselves.
