The company markets itself as Swiss but actually runs from Germany, and all the units are built in China. The monitor quality feels like it's from 15 to 20 years ago. Customer communication doesn't exist. They never answer written messages and refuse to address any complaints about broken equipment. You're paying inflated prices for outdated tech, and if something breaks when you get it or anytime later, you're stuck with a broken device and zero support. They won't replace anything no matter what. Save yourself the trouble and stay away.
I've had trouble accessing my account and loyalty rewards on their website for months. Called customer support today to sort it out and spent over an hour on the phone with no real help. They kept saying they weren't sure how to fix the issue and the supervisor wouldn't even jump on the call to assist. Their suggestion was just to try a different browser, and when I asked how they'd follow up, they basically said to try the browser change. Spoiler alert, that didn't work either. Their loyalty program and website management are pretty much useless. I've always been happy with their actual GC series product, but if another company gets close to their quality, I'm done with them based on this experience.
I got the AirVisual Pro Indoor Monitor in February 2025 and bought their Outdoor Monitor a couple months later. Both worked okay at first. Then the outdoor unit started dropping connection randomly and I have to power cycle it to get it working again. I contacted support multiple times and they blamed Wi-Fi, but my Wi-Fi signal is strong at 80 to 90% and every other device in the area works fine. The connection isn't the problem. Support refused to swap it out and told me to hardwire it with ethernet instead. That completely defeats the whole point of a wireless device, right? I'm not happy with their support team and definitely won't buy from them again. I switched to an AirGradient sensor and I'm much happier.
Starting mid-February 2025, the manufacturer experienced major server issues that completely broke my outdoor air quality device. Since then, the particle count readings have been off by 100 to 200 times their normal levels. PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 measurements all spiked together that same day and haven't recovered. Before this incident, the device worked perfectly for months. The company has been silent about the problem and ignores all support emails. Spending over $300 for a device that now shows unreliable data is absolutely ridiculous, especially with zero communication or help from the manufacturer. This device is basically useless now.
My air quality monitor quit working after just two weeks. I've submitted several requests through their website and sent multiple emails but haven't received any response at all. Extremely disappointed with their complete lack of customer support. Would not recommend to anyone.
I bought their air monitor system and the setup process is a nightmare. The YouTube videos made it look easy, but the actual device is confusing and hard to use. Getting the company to respond to anything is painful. I've sent them tons of messages asking for a return label and gotten nowhere. Find literally any other brand and save yourself hundreds of dollars and tons of frustration. I'm filing a chargeback with my credit card company since they won't even talk to me or process a return.
DO NOT BUY this air filter. The interface is absolutely terrible and confusing. The build quality is cheap and flimsy. The wheels broke on day three. The body is so thin you can barely move the thing without it falling apart. For what they're charging, this is a complete ripoff and a total waste of money.
I own several of their Health Pro and Plus air purifiers, which are expensive at $900 each. The replacement filters run $300 or more every 6 to 18 months depending on usage. It's really pricey to keep these machines running. They do clean the air well, which is why I have multiple units, but I'm giving them 1 star because 0 stars isn't available. I asked for warranty coverage on two filter trays since the rubber seals wore out over time. The company advertises a 10 year warranty, so I figured they'd cover inexpensive parts on a $900 machine, especially since the filter costs are already so high. Turns out they refused the warranty claim even though I provided photos, serial numbers, and my purchase receipt. I bought the unit new less than 10 years ago and the trays cost maybe $35 each to replace. They lost a loyal customer over $70 worth of parts and a broken promise.
Everything I bought from them failed. I purchased two monitors, an indoor and an outdoor model, plus some masks. The indoor unit got so hot I thought it would catch fire, then the back panel fell off completely. The outdoor monitor just stopped working. The masks were useless too, they didn't filter anything and I couldn't breathe wearing them. All of this happened just over a year after I bought these items.
