What Shoppers Say About jvnhair.com
JVN Hair has a polarized customer base with stark differences in satisfaction. Positive reviewers praise the Air Dry Cream as exceptional for curly hair, highlighting its ease of use and ability to reduce frizz without requiring heat styling. However, the majority of feedback centers on significant issues: two reviewers reported that the shampoo, conditioner, and scalp oil products either felt too heavy, dried out their scalp, or left hair greasy and difficult to manage. One customer also experienced serious customer service problems, including a bounced email address and unresponsive support channels after placing a $92 order in January 2024.
The limited review volume (only three ratings) means these experiences carry considerable weight in the overall assessment. The 67 percent one-star rating and communication failures suggest potential operational challenges alongside inconsistent product performance across different hair types. Shoppers considering JVN Hair should be aware that individual product suitability varies significantly, and they may want to verify current customer service responsiveness before making a purchase.

Sorted by: Most recentOrdered from the JVN Hair site back in January 2024 and paid $92 for a bundle of 5 items plus a conditioner bottle. When I reached out to their customer service email on February 5th asking about my shipment, the email bounced. I found an alternate contact and tried again, but got nothing but automated responses on social media. I kept seeing other complaints about orders never showing up, so I filed a chargeback with my credit card company. JVN ended up fighting my dispute and won, which meant I lost the merchandise but still had to pay the full $92. Late February rolls around and I finally got just the single conditioner bottle, but nothing else from the order. As of mid-April, those other items still haven't arrived and I'm out all that money.
This Air Dry Cream is seriously the best product I've ever put in my curly hair, and trust me, I've tested out plenty of options over the years. I literally just apply it and let my hair do its thing with zero effort. After spending years blow drying and straightening my curls, I finally get to wear them naturally without all the frizz. I'm definitely telling people to grab this cream.
These products just aren't working for me. The purple shampoo and conditioner felt way too heavy and didn't actually clean my hair well or provide any real moisture. When I switched to the green shampoo, it totally dried out my scalp. Then I tried the scalp oil and it made my hair so greasy that rinsing it out became a nightmare. Plus, my hair started shedding noticeably when washing the oil out. For the price point, I'm really let down by this brand and I'm not impressed. I reached out to their customer service asking if they could at least refund me for one of the shampoos and the oil, but I haven't gotten any response. I'm skipping this brand going forward and won't be telling anyone else to try it either.
