What Shoppers Say About Keychron
Keychron receives polarized feedback, with shoppers split sharply between positive and negative experiences. Those satisfied with the company praise fast refunds processed without hassle and professional customer service, describing responsive handling of returns. However, the majority of reviewers report serious problems: defective products received new out of the box (such as broken cursor keys), extremely slow and unresponsive support processes that drag on for weeks, refunds that require customer persistence to process, incorrect items shipped (wrong keyboard layouts), and inventory issues with products marked available but out of stock. Several shoppers describe having to follow up multiple times to receive refunds or support, and report being asked to pay extra fees for warranty claims or offered only the option to repurchase rather than receive support.
Common frustrations center on the gap between online product information and what arrives, combined with support responses that are delayed, incremental, and sometimes dismissive of warranty claims. Shoppers also report difficulty obtaining refunds without persistent follow-up. The inconsistency in service experiences (some receiving immediate professional refunds, others waiting weeks and fighting for their money back) suggests that Keychron's customer service quality may depend heavily on individual support representatives or circumstances.

Sorted by: Most recentI got a V1 Max keyboard from their regional website and it's been a disaster. Keys keep failing every couple weeks. I managed to swap out broken switches with spares for a while but eventually ran out of replacements. Really disappointing overall. To make matters worse customer service never replied to any of my messages. Would not buy from them again.
These folks make seriously well constructed keyboards. I picked up a Q5 Max and hands down it's the best keyboard I've ever owned.
I purchased a Keychron Q1 and I'm really pleased with it overall. Shipping was super fast and the package came with all the tools you need to disassemble and work on the keyboard. I misplaced my WIN keycap set so I contacted them to ask which ones I was missing and they shipped replacements right out. Got them within 10 to 15 days. People complain about their support team a lot but in my case they were fantastic.
So I got a Keychron Q1 and honestly I'm really happy with it. Great keyboard overall. The delivery was quick and it came with all the tools I needed to take it apart. When I accidentally lost the WIN keycap set I shot them an email asking about what keys were missing and they sent replacements right away. Had them in my hands in about 10 to 15 days. I know lots of people complain about their customer support but mine was actually really good.
Bought the Keychron K1SE specifically for Mac support and the clean aesthetic. My experience has been excellent: Delivery was super fast, keyboard shipped the next business day and arrived in under 3 weeks. Everything feels premium - the keycaps, the aluminum, the plastic, the switches. The Bluetooth connects smoothly with no lag whatsoever. There are tons of lighting customization options. Works great with both Mac and Windows. The packaging was really nice. The price is way better than other big brand competitors. Plus I didn't get hit with any import taxes.
My keyboard went out the next day after I ordered it and showed up about 2 weeks later in perfect condition. It works exactly as it should. The shipping cost was a little steep at $25 for a $70 keyboard, but they packed it really well so nothing got damaged. Didn't need to contact support at all. I paid with PayPal for some extra peace of mind, and the company seems totally legit.
I'm a longtime Mac user who really misses those old Alps keyboards from way back. Modern Macs come with that terrible Magic keyboard that's flat and unresponsive - makes typing a pain and leads to mistakes. The mouse that comes with it is basically garbage. I ditched that mouse for a Logitech MX Master which is fantastic. Finding a good mechanical keyboard for Mac with UK layout that actually works without crazy workarounds was tough, but Keychron has solid options. I wanted a full size 105 key board but they only make 96% which has the number pad in a spot I don't like. So I went with the K8 TKL instead. The build quality is really impressive. The alloy frame is beautiful, the brown switches feel amazing and type smoothly, the backlight looks great, and it's a pleasure to use. These switches are quiet enough that my coworkers won't get annoyed but they still have better feedback than a red switch. This keyboard is substantial and feels like it will last.
