My 3 star rating comes down to the customer service side of things. They basically don't have one anymore. They got rid of their phone line and there's no live chat option. You have to email and wait several days for a response, if you get one at all. Lettuce Grow, you need to fix your customer service to earn a 5 star rating!
I've been using a Lettuce Grow system for 3 years now and results have been outstanding. The seedlings allow for quick resets. Everything about the system is straightforward and user friendly. Cleaning and upkeep are simple. The veggies and lettuce turn out great. With food costs going up everywhere, growing your own really starts to make financial sense. The new spring reset package they're offering makes the whole cleaning and restart process incredibly convenient.
The cleaning tools I got (there were 4 of them) aren't working out so far. The brush looks nothing like what was shown in the pictures. I'm going to wait a month to see if things improve, but honestly it's looking like these might be a total waste of money.
Skip this one, it ships from overseas, arrives in a beat up box, and doesn't even function. You can't reach the company online which makes it completely pointless. Businesses operating like this should be shut down. Total garbage.
My dog's toy arrived today smashed up in a tiny box! Only part of it was actually inside. The USB connector doesn't match the cable they sent. Bottom line, it's junk and a total rip off. When I called, nobody answered. I ended up composing my entire last batch of plants because they came in looking terrible and I sent pictures to show the condition. Some didn't even produce anything after months of waiting. The representative kept telling me to be patient and only emailed sporadically. After a month he said replacements were only honored in the first week. When I brought up the photo I'd sent the day the seedling arrived, he stopped responding.
The price point is really steep. It's decent if you don't have space for traditional garden beds. The mobile app seems nice on the surface but doesn't actually work well. You run into problems constantly. You'll often end up with the wrong seedling varieties. To be fair, they will refund the money back to your account. Works okay for growing herbs but costs way too much for everything else.
