Liquid I.V. Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Liquid I.V.
Liquid I.V. has a polarized customer base with significant quality and service issues. The most common complaint centers on customer support failures, including unresponsive teams that ignore requests for discount code assistance and order problems. Multiple shoppers report product quality concerns, particularly hardened or unusable packets within multi-packs and disappointing flavors (notably passion fruit, described as tasting like "salty bath water"). A few reviewers note delivery can be fast when orders do arrive successfully, and some customers appreciate the product's effectiveness for hydration when it meets expectations.
The low overall rating reflects serious operational challenges. Delivery problems appear recurring, with some shoppers reporting non-receipt of orders despite payment. Shoppers also express frustration with discrepancies between advertising claims and actual service delivery. While a small portion of reviewers praise taste and hydration benefits, the majority indicate they would not recommend the store due to customer service neglect, product quality inconsistencies, and fulfillment failures.

Sorted by: Most recentPicked up this product recently and wanted to test it out since I have hypothyroidism. Started with passion fruit and discovered what other people already knew - it's their worst flavor by far. Honestly tastes like salty bath water, plus it reminds me too much of the prep drinks they give you before colonoscopies. Not a fun experience. Figured I'd try their highest rated option, raspberry lemonade. Still has that bath water vibe going on, but at least it's tolerable if you keep it really cold straight from the fridge. One more thing - wouldn't suggest their sugary versions. The electrolyte benefits get wiped out by the sugar crash afterward. Haven't tested the sugar free ones yet, so maybe those work better.
Been buying this stuff on Amazon for a while now. They offered 20% off for signing up to their newsletter, so I did. Their website rejected the discount code. I contacted support on December 30th and got nothing. Tried again on January 5th and still waiting. Completely unhelpful. Still got all the spam from signing up though. The product actually works well, which makes this even more frustrating.
Would've rated them five stars not long ago, but things have changed. Usually grab their 16 pack of firecracker flavor, which isn't cheap but tastes great and helps with my constant dehydration. Lately though, when buying from different stores and pharmacies, I keep finding one or more packets that are completely hardened and unusable. Seems like I'll need to stick with Amazon since they consistently send me product in good condition. I'm staying away from their other flavors too until they get their quality control in order. Come on, do better - there's tons of competitors ready to take your business.
My order showed up in under a week, which is awesome. I actually tried to cancel it after hearing some concerns about the company, but it arrived the very next day anyway. Everything looks good with the drinks and how they packed them, so I'm really satisfied with how this turned out.
This company runs a scam operation. They take your money and then never actually deliver the product you paid for. This appears to happen all the time with them. Interestingly, they're owned by Unilever. I'm currently gathering documentation to send to major news outlets.
Your TV ads say you can buy here, but you're showing really polished reviews. Maybe step up your game and actually deliver what you're advertising.
Grabbed a bunch of Liquid IV during Cyber Monday to give my adult kids as holiday gifts. Two weeks go by and nothing ships, so I check in. They promised to reship it via 3 day priority. The shipping label gets made but then sits there for a few more days. I asked to cancel since it wouldn't arrive in time, but they said it couldn't be stopped since it was already handed over to the carrier. Then they shipped it the slowest way possible. It's December 23rd now and the tracking says December 27th arrival. My oldest will already be back out of state by then. They told me I'd have to cover the cost to return it.
Honestly, just grab this from stores like grocery stores or Costco if you spot it. Tested out Nuun, Ultima, LMNT, and several other electrolyte drinks. Liquid IV definitely hits harder when it comes to hydration, and it's legitimately working, not just my imagination. Gets my pee clear in 2 to 3 hours while other brands do basically nothing. I stick with the full sugar kind since I'm not sure the sugar free version works the same way. Really helps with my migraines too.
I've been a customer since Liquid IV first launched, and they had excellent service before. Something seems different lately though. Maybe new management took over or they got too big to care anymore. I had a monthly subscription for 3 bags, but my last shipment had real issues. The Seaberry flavor showed up with rock hard, clumpy packets out of a 16 pack - about 7 were basically unusable and the rest felt sticky. I sent pictures through their email support and heard nothing back for over a week. Really disappointing to see them stop caring like this. When I pay for something, I expect to actually get what I'm paying for. Seven unusable packets isn't acceptable. There are plenty of other options out there, so I'm going to check out the competition.
